So I showed my commission to my dad and once he had figured out that the blonde girl was my character he decided that he didn't trust Gorim.
I like him.

I'll PM you if you're that desperate to find out why and how what happens, Costin

Personally? I prefer the characters the way they are when you meet them. It's a combination of things, i dislike the whole concept of pushing people to change since it's something imo that --should it happen at all-- ought to stem out of person's own conviction and soul-searching. Plus, their genuine concerns about others are adorable and i think precious in the grey DA settings. Stripping them off it... that feels kind of like strangling a puppy, sure one can tell themselves they're only doing it for the puppy's own good so it doesn't get hurt by someone else, but, well.Gilsa wrote...
That is true. I was looking at the larger picture (and partly reacting out of protectiveness). A common thief is one thing, but this was a woman who had Leliana framed, tortured, and left for dead along with sending assassins after her while pretending it was just a singing telegram. My decision to kill her is my way of making sure she doesn't come back for Leliana again after we all part ways in the end.
Out of curiousity, do you prefer hardened Leliana or default Leliana?
You can always just leave the dragon alive too so it keeps guarding the Urn. Leliana then shows up at the end in regular clothing and either goes after Marjolaine or i dunno, but either way there's no Chantry business even if she's unhardened.Sarah1281 wrote...
I got sick of hearing all about Leliana plans to go help with the Ashes so I started hardening her so she could actually do something useful in the Deep Roads. That may not be the BEST reason but...oh well.

Meh the whole "I will wear your pretty, pretty teeth as a braclet" line is kinda a turn off for me.

You mean the look of someone who is about to stab you? Yes, I suppose that could be hot for some people:blink:

My canon, Gilsa. (The one in the commission with Gorim.) I actually miss her, but I've already played out her story! I still have to redo her Awakening game so I'm looking forward to that. Bothers me that I didn't know about Sigrun's personal quest being bugged and I just have this thing about doing right by all my dwarf homies so definitely redoing that one.Sarah1281 wrote...
So Gilsa, who is your favorite Warden? You switch avatars all the time.

That's exactly how I feel about Alistair. I won't romance him on anyone, but my dwarf noble. I did romance him on a DC as my second character, but that's because I wasn't sure which dwarf origin I would like better. I ended up deleting that playthrough once I decided Alistair + DN felt most right. The only reason why I am even romancing him on a second DN is that if Alistair ever returns in a sequel and the story keeps going, I don't want to have my face pressed against the window watching the parade go by. I don't want to change Gilsa's ending with sparing Loghain because that is the core of who she is. It would cheapen that game. So hence second DN to keep things different, sort of like a parellel universe. =p (If that makes sense!)KnightofPhoenix wrote...
I miss my Canon, Arcturus, too. I might actually redo the game with him. I also miss it because that's the only playthrough where I romance Morrigan. The others are not worthy of romancing her lol
