Also I am now becoming a huge Oghren fangirl... I was one before, but my love is GROWING. I'd totally romance him if I could... But you know, that's not at all weird after the whole HI I KILLED YOUR WIFE AND/OR YOU WATCHED HER KILL HERSELF thing. Nope.

You could just ignore Awakening, have Missa head straight to Antiva with Zevran and let Loghain/Alistair deal with the Wardens, while writing about their lives in parallel.
P.S. You told me you would PM me with what you are planning to do regarding Loghain.
...Can you explain that? It's not like I'm going through this with the mindset of 'Okay, now let's make sure that this is nice and juvenile' or anything.Costin_Razvan wrote...
Sarah, nice chapter, but could you at least TRY and make it sound less juvenile?
Oh and lol at 100.000 words...I suspect that by the time I get to chapter 12 mine will be half as long as yours, but of course mine will be MUCH longer in the end.....as I tend to write a lot of character development.

Well since I am a teenager I suppose that that's not very surprising. Do you have any specifics? If it's just a general feeling then I can't do anything about it.Costin_Razvan wrote...
You just make Aunn act like she is a teenager, when she is in fact a twenty one year old woman who has fought darkspawn for many years.
Oh and....what are you going to do with Loghain?
Deciding who to recruit on the basis of who is more useful against the darkspawn and getting annoyed that a party member forced a fight with someone who you haven't finished questioning and might have even not killed are teenager-ish things to do?Costin_Razvan wrote...
It is a general feeling indeed, but I there are specific moments ( like when deciding to choose between Templars and Mages or when Wynne goes against Aunn regarding Kolgrim )
As for Loghain: Good to hear.
Heh, I was the same way on my romanceless Brosca! She liked how screwed up Oghren was because she could relate to him and could see that he put up a bravado to cover up his self-doubts. I really wrestled with whether or not she'd help him with Felsi because I was roleplaying her as having an unrequited crush on Oghren. By the time the Felsi quest rolled around, she could see that it was hard for him to move past Branka and Oghren just wasn't noticing her despite her obvious attempts ("I love you, too, Oghren" and "Right here, you mad stallion," etc). So she figured he deserved to have some happiness so she helped him out with Felsi.soignee wrote...

However ... when Awakening rolled around, when she saw that Oghren walked out on his wife and child, wow, all semblence of a crush evaporated. That is not someone any of my wardens would want to be with.I have a toddler that means the world to me and this is heavily affecting my attitude towards Oghren. I just can't fathom being able to walk away from a child. It irks me that my warden has to make him be a better dad by raising his approval level.
Well, I am trying to write a humor fic and view the DN of both genders as far more sheltered than you seem to based on the inability to walk to their own damn proving they were fighting in when Trian and Bhelen are allowed to go by themselves.Costin_Razvan wrote...
It is not the matter of the courses of action, but how you portray them.

I use a dwarf name generator and keep going until I find one I like. Of course, if you're doing a DC then remember who would have named you and she might not have even been sober at the time and you're probably fine with anything.Kryyptehk wrote...
How do you guys name your dwarves? I'm starting to worry that Norala is a weird name for a dwarf...mostly because it reminds me of Nala from Lion King lol.
