I write it you draw it, amirite?
Hell yea *sisfist*
Lady, you have made many people roll dwarves through your art. IT IS COMMUNITY SERVICE AND DAMN FINE PR. Hush now, you're excused!
*womanly tears of gladness*If the arts gets people to try out the dorfs, then I feel accomplished. Because eet maketh me sad when I read people who don't even want to touch both Dwarven origins...I go WRRYYYYYYY????
TBH we had similar epilogues- unhardened!Alistair/F!Aeducan off into grey warden paradise, so I cannot say anything. I will say that my Aeducan is not in my head as vividly as my Brosca, and I find it difficult writing her. Missa Brosca onnnn the other hand is there scowling at me to write, punching people in the face and totally sexing the pretty things up being an all round awesome, kick ass heroine.
I play M!Brosca to fulfill my lifelong dream of playing a dashing male scoundrel who's a hit with the ladies

But I recently rolled a F!Brosca (confirmed: hot dorf girls are hot), and my aim is for her to do the opposite of what my Aeducan did...though I'm still figuring out what kind of fecked up motivation a Brosca would have to deliberately choose Harrowmont over Bhelen.
I love your dudebro cousland, as you give Anora love ! Ah, Anora
Anora's an interesting case that demonstrates the range of player perception due to the branching paths of the game. While those who were backstabbed when aiming to depose her to install Alistair as king (or got shafted from trying to explain you're rescuing her to Cauthrien) will most likely liken her to a canine of female persuasion, those who didn't contest her rule and supported her claim didn't see her as such and perhaps even respected her. Personally it was quite disconcerting to see the amount of vitriol she gets, though not without cause for some playthroughs...still, it's interesting to observe the similarities in intensity and emotional investment when it comes to Anora/Alistair/Morrigan/
insertcharacterhere adoration or hatred. The beauty of RPGs no? No
one two experience is 100% the same

But I'm here for the dorfs, so I'll stop. No hoomans allowed!

I just can't justify the dark ritual. Think about it. The darkspawn are amassing under my home and the archdemon is what gets them all in a frenzy. WHY would I give that Old God an extended warranty? He's just going to get
older and the process would start again. How many more dwarves are going to die because I wanted to be selfish? Frankly, it's my dwarf's opinion that all the old gods need to die to end these cycles faster. Five old
gods dead now, two more to go. Gave the finger to the architect, too.
My DNF was friends with Morrigan because the witch appeals to her intellectually (Alistair is pretty, yes, but he's not the brightest torch out there...), and being a dorf who still struggles with the demands of tradition and change, she agreed to the dark ritual, in addition to her own selfish wants, because of Morrigan's argument that
"Some things are worth preserving in this world." in regards to the Old Gods' tragic fate as dragon deities that ended up banished and unwittingly corrupted by the Darkspawn (The way Morrigan said it was good enough to make me feel sentimental over it). Her final words to my DNF before storming Denerim at the end confirmed to me that it was the right choice...now whether it
is the case or not, we'll have to wait until the next game to see.
My DNF gave the Architect the finger too

It was insulting to her dwarven pride that he even suggested such a thing to her, so my DNF, Justice, Sigrun and a reluctant Velanna went stabbity happy on him. If the world can survive 5 Blights, they can survive 2 more, Orzammar has survived through all of them combined, and with Bhelen's progressive stance I'd like to be optimistic about their future. Also, looking at how Mother and her children turned out, the Architect's proposal is not without its own unpredictable risks (he did accidentally cause the 5th Blight, after all).
Oh noes, more hooman talk again @_@ Ok, for realz now.
I reserve the right to be weak and make a dwarf that has a surviving Alistair romance that I can import into other games. In the meantime, I will just live vicariously through Aimo's art.
Thank you!

I will not judge your gaming choices

Sexy Dragon Age fan fiction in which Howe "invades" Bryce's castle and a discussion about how king Cailan is a little too happy to be a Darkspawn trophy. Royal scepter and all.
Ahhh, fanworks...it's the realm of happiness/sadness/horror

But when it's good, it's
really good.
*Grins while reading her choice fave fanfics in her e-book reader*And the
Cailan Happy Morte situation is one of the main reasons I'm not putting any of
that mod in my game.
Too many possibilities of awkward wrong abound.
