Ehh, honestly; if in your mind literally one person 'rushing to defense' and few who declared they like everyone in the thread becomes 'everyone rushed to her defense' then it's like Flemmeth said, "we believe what we want to believe". I mean, did you consider that "liking everyone" would also include you? Or did you (sub)consciously remove yourself from that list because well, that wouldn't fit the image of "one against the crowd"?Sarah1281 wrote...
I loved how when someone called her immature (which, you know, is so much more offensive then telling someone to go die in a fire in real life) everyone rushed to her defense as is usually typical of the thread.

Thats a safe course of action, but you really miss some stimulating conversations with people. Especailly about Morrigan, her fans are a pretty cool bunch.
Maybe I will take "baby-steps" but I am not jumping into a river filled with piranhas immediately.
Well you can come to the Leliana thread mostly an innocent thread, no real haters or trolls there. THe Morrigan thread is also cool as well.
Never romanced Leliana so I have nothing to state in that thread. Ironically, she is "Interested" in my character who recently defiled the ashes infront of her, so I might give it a shot.
Well, since she pretty much travels with me everywhere, she knows what she is getting herself into with a dwarf who shows no mercy to anyone who surrenders to him so far (including Zevran).

I think you may have described him in ways that would be consistent with a crazy evil character but if those are just coincidental similarities then feel free to not apply it to him.Caak7i wrote...

Depends on the person who does the painting. Might be more than couple hours in a session especially in the beginning when they need to get the basics down, i'd imagine?Sarah1281 wrote...
Also, how long would you guys say sitting for a portrait would take? A couple of hours a day over a few weeks?

The ashes; unless you really despise the chantry/want more power (my *excuse*) you character appears to be insane to everyone except the pc itself. It will be the only time I wii do this though I love the scene with Kolgrim after doing the deed and then betraying him afterwards. For Zevran, I thought there was pragmatic reasones to not take your chances with an assassin who quickly tries to convince you he has no loyalties to the Crows after trying to kill you. Plus, the fact he said he "hoped" my pc was "royally stupid" sealed the deal.

entirely depends. A couple hours a week for someone important, usually. Sometimes the artist has to make **** up if the sitter refused even that. No such thing as "working from photos" remember.

Fanart/FanFic... hmmmm, I'm always afraid to comment on it, I never review it, and when people start yelling about it, I just skip to the next message. But no one there is really abrasive I don't think. There are a couple I butt heads with I guess, but it's always amiable.

And then you had that picture of your 'messy' room that had everyone wondering about what your 'neat' ones look like...Hah, I remember the cute picture time. I posted a picture of my dog as a puppy. I don't remember what sparked the whole "cute" thing, though. I do know it had a few people I really respect there RAGING though so I felt a bit bad about posting her amazing puppicuteness.

Yeah it ended on that debate. It started with someone mentioning that they're not going to post fanart by other people again as they didn't like the reaction the posters gave.
My response was, "uh, and?" But more wordy and in a HUGE BLOCK OF FCKING TEXT. Which did not, uh, go down well.
