They're talking about Sigrun's funeral, but it might be a useful framework.  Chanting and toasts, oaths are pledged, celebration and laughter.

Question for girly Aeducan types; would the image of marrying your beau in your grandmother's armour too manly? Cause I think it's a nice sentimental touch and very dwarvish, but... I am not everyone.

I like that armor so no complaints from me. Just FYI, the dwarf nobles do wear the same dress as the one from the city elf wedding. You can even buy them off the silk vendor in the origins (just can't keep them after the exile). Just saying. I'm not picky at all about what gets used because I already like the ceremonial armor.

Preference-wise, I'd go with a dress, because I like my Aeducan to wear princessy things. BUT Grandmama's armor would be cool too if her partner wears plate as well. Wouldn't want to be the only one looking buff and tough in a party, especially your own...

Question for tmp here since it's dwarf related and affects both me and Jess. =p

We were talking about how spoiled we had been with the dwarf/alistair scenes from cmessaz's mod even though the scenes were mainly meant for elves and humans. Right? OK. So I thought, well, why not just do the same thing for Zevran? How hard could it be to steal the elf sex scenes with Zevran and reuse them for the dwarf even though they won't line up right? RIght? OK. So I downloaded one of the BSC folders and renamed the zevran sex files from _ef to _df. This experiment failed spectacularly.

I'm NOT looking for someone to make this happen. I am looking for an explanation of why my logic failed. Was there was merely another file I needed to rename or is there a master file I need to edit in toolset? =p I can look up tutorials if I just knew what exactly I was looking for!

The cutscenes are composed of two separate files, one with .cut extension and one with .cub extension. Just renaming them won't work because each of these files holds a link inside to the other file. So once you rename them, that link points to wrong or non-existing file and the game gets confused.

It can be handled with the Toolset, by opening the files once you rename them and fixing the links manually, then saving the changed files.

For the .cub file you will need to update content of field named ANIMATION_TREE_NAME and it seems to be name of your animation without the .cut/,cub extension

For the .cut file there is a field named CUTSCENE_BLENDTREE which expects to have the name of your .cub file Another reference to the .cub file is below too, as one of entries in CUTSCENE_RESOURCES branch.

Well, while neither of my Aeducans would get married during the game (my male DN won't choose between Morrigan and Leliana and after Morrigan leaves he's afraid Leliana will get herself killed in Orzammar and my female DN takes the length of the game after finding out she's single to get over it) I think that that would be a really nice touch as it would show that she has a place in Orzammar as an Aeducan again even if she chooses not to live there which would mean a lot to someone forcibly (and in some cases wrongfully) exiled. Not to mention that the fact that they even still have the armor and would give it back to her...yeah, that would mean a lot more than a random noble outfit.

Oh, I didn't do them. I got a commission from Payroo who is currently swamped with other commissions and work but I'd imagine in a few weeks she'll have time again.

I technically have the game even if I never play the PC version because I don't have the proper graphics card (but I believe that if you just download the character creator you can do the same thing although you'd probably need to ask KoP). I started a new game with my DN (since she's my favorite) and played through part of the origin making sure to manually take pictures along the way. I sent the pictures to my email and then when I opened up the file that shows what the portraits are for each character I shrunk/cropped the photos down to 146X146, saved it over the portrait pic, and then made it read-only. After a few hours the pictures uploaded. I think this one turned out the best so that's what I'm using.

Oghren gets sober? I can't imagine how he would run out of alcohol. That's just...I think a sober Oghren would scare me. It's like one of the elven signs of the apocalypse. And I know I couldn't write smut. It would just fail on so many levels. Plus after awhile I think that you'd need to get creative about how to describe it so you don't just copy and paste previous smut that you've written.
