You're writing porn about OGHREN? *sigh* Please at least tell me it's not an Oghren/Zevran pairing. I'd have to cry.

Wait, Oghren porn? I thought it was just Oghren sobering up led to porn that did not involve him. Posted Image

Now I'm scared.

Anyway . . . just to confirm.

This thread has changed from Dwarf discussions to fan fic/miscellaneous discussions right?

We're on topic a lot (and talking about dwarven fanfics like DDW is on-top, I think) but sometimes, as what happens whenever a thread gets long enough or some has a post that distracts everyone (like trying to figure out if women married young in a thread talking about how one NPC was a pedophile for arranging to sleep with a girl identified as underage). Still, it's mostly about dwarves. Posted Image

I don't worry about topics, I just throw in my two cents where it seems like it will be the least annoying. I'm ignored a lot, so my opinion probably isn't the best.

Dwarf kisses are on topic, though, right?  How about ugly naked male dwarf kisses?  Yeh, looks on topic to me.

Well, you can't really tell if he's ugly from behind although you do have to wonder why he has a detachable head. Posted Image

I am glad that the DN PC was not commander for long, otherwise I would be forced to equip the scale armor set that Trian is proudly wearing:sick:

Why? Is that commander armor or just Trian's preference?

Ahhh, ok, you can see his face in this video.  I think he looks like Alistair would if Alistair were a dwarf.  With a broken nose.

Well Bhelen is wearing the same set as you are, which I imagine it could be some dwarven tradition for the king to pass his sons older armor worn by the Houses' ancestors. Then after being commander, they get their own set. Just a theory I have with no evidence.

I suppose wearing ceremonial armor during your debut could be traditional but would that mean you'd have to have armor just like Trian's? I know that when my DNs get back to Orzammar there's no way they're giving up their awesome armor for whatever they're expected to wear.

Trian and Gorim both wear the same armor in the DN origin. I don't think it means anything. ;)

True, but Gorim is Gorim; he can wear whatever armor suits him. I just not a fan of the scale set for some odd reason, maybe since it looked worse on the console than the PC due to the texture details. Show is on, I have to watch.

Heh, I really like the idea of her returning to Orzammar with Gorim in that game. Sucks that things ended badly with Alistair, but that frees her up for a dwarf romance if that ever comes along. I like to think of her as rewarding Gorim's loyalty by making sure his family is provided for. I wonder if he gets a son or daughter.

You got some kickass artwork with Gorim, btw. I laugh everytime I look at it because it makes me think of your dad not liking what Gorim is suggesting to you. LOL. That was funny. =D

Yeah but his civilian clothes look horrible. Seriously, what was he thinking when he got those?

Yeah, you really can't buy that kind of loyalty and so of course you'd make sure he's okay. Plus he's willing to follow you around everywhere and make life more amusing again which is always a plus. Posted Image

I really Posted Image that picture, too. Although I'm a little concerned about my dad's romance radar since it apparently now extends to fictional romances. Posted Image

****, how did I miss this?

Apparently Wojech is Frandlin's older brother! And he makes me want to kill Ivo even more! I didn't even think that was possible!

Wojech: Well if it isn't the exiled Lady Aeducan/little Lord Aeducan (VO: Scornfully, condescendingly)
(Wojech: I'm looking forward to humiliating you, just like my brother did. (VO: Contemptuous))
(Wojech: I hear you made meat of my little brother. Looks like it's time to put the polish back on the Ivo name. (VO: Threatening))

PC: Your brother betrayed me and House Aeducan.
Wojech: I don't think so, exile. You're a nameless Surfacer now and my brother stands at Prince Bhelen's left hand (VO: Contemptuous)

PC: I'm going to make you eat those words.
Wojech: This isn't some Glory Proving to celebrate a noble brat's first commission, exile. (VO: Disdainful) You're fighting men now, not little girls. (VO: Macho)

PC: When Harrowmont is King, you and your brother will both hang.
Wojech: If Harrowmont has no one to champion him but a nameless exile, how will he find the votes to be King? (VO: Disdainful) You know what they say: The ancestors help those who side with the winners. (VO: Macho)

He's rude to a non-Warden, too, but nothing like that. I think he just pushed my 'should I support Bhelen as a DN' meter down to zero again. Posted Image

Oh, good find about Wojech. Interesting.

Hey, I'm curious what happens to a casteless when they die. I just had to ask Alistair if he wanted to talk about Duncan and it led him to asking about our burial customs. Sure, dwarves entomb their dead in thaigs, but that doesn't apply to casteless, does it?

Edit: I had a good RP session tonight -- things seemed to flow naturally.

- Got betrayed by best friend, Leske. A bit stunned by it.
- After wiping out Jarvia, she asked Zev about being an assasin to see if he was going to be a liability like Leske.
- After giving Bhelen his progress report, she broke the news to Rica about Leske and got her sympathy.
- Decides to unwind first  in Tapsters before heading into Deep Roads. Leske's on the brain and it occurs to her that Alistair also lost someone close to him so she asks about Duncan.
- They talk about burial customs.

Now this is the part where I'm wondering how casteless bury their dead because then it'd help me envision if she'd go back and get Leske's body or let the guards dispose of it since there's nowhere to put him.
