Leske's death was anti-climactic. It was like, oh dead...but wait I still have Jarvia and her archers to deal with!
P.S. Here is my vanguard Shepard dealing with the council "Shakes fist"

The Council

Argh, I need to finish up my current game. Must resist the siren call of Mass Effect! Must! (I hate the council so much.)

I'm not sure why I don't mind the Council but want to destroy everyone who feels the need to make smartass comments or be condescending when my DN goes back to Orzammar. And Ivo. I guess betryaing his commander really paid off for him, huh? Until, of course, she becomes a Paragon and then has him killed. Posted Image

Hah. I suspect Bhelen would gladly have all of House Ivo killed if his sister/brother asked after they put him on the throne.

Bhelen: House Ivo? Never heard of them. Head Shaper have you ever heard of a house "Ivo"?

HS: I believe that's the noble house that you recently had dipped slowly into boiling hot magma.

Behlen: Ah yes! Them! See big Brother/sister? I've already taken care of it.

It would probably benefit him to get rid of Frandlin as he's the only loose end left if you kill the Scout besides you and Gorim and he wouldn't say anything if you don't and you've already proven yourself an ally. Plus this way he can claim that Frandlin falsely accused you and possibly even did the deed himself or else use your report of casteless mercenaries and say that they did it. This way he gets rid of his loose end and has a good-PR reason why he's accepting you back into the fold.

Of course, he may also implicate Harrowmont just because he dearly hates him.

Edit: And I am really curious as to how you think the two would interact once the Blight's cleared up and Bhelen's on the throne.

My first ME game, I played it safe as a paragon, but by the end of that I was incensed with the ineptness of the council. I did save them, but could not believe that these people were in charge of looking out for the best interests of all aliens. My second game, which went on to be my canon game, I hung up on them every single time. When Joker asked if I wanted to patch through to them, I said no. That felt so good. And then I didn't save the council because I thought their replacements would be an improvement.

I did feel a little bad that the aliens in ME2 felt like humans were making themselves too important, but when I loaded up the paragon game and saw the council in ME2, I started laughing because THEY WERE STILL USELESS.

@Costin -- how big is your hard drive? You must have an insane amount of videos eating up all that space.

But the Turian councilor is awesome! "Ah yes. 'Reapers.'" And the airquotes!

Not really. I use VirtualDub to compress them to 200 MB ( it gives a rather low quality ) using DivX codec. Of course they are large when I fraps them, but rendering in VD takes about 11 minutes so no issue...I have about 80 GB of free space, and each 10 min clip takes about 4 gb so...

What takes bloody long is to upload them ( or else I would render them in higher quality ). For a mere 200 mb it takes me about one hour.

However....if I had about 1 terabyte of space....then I could record about 200 videos ( which would be well enough for most games to do a playthrough video chain on )

Dwarf thread, I need help. I appear to be obsessed with Oghren at the moment:

*He appeared in a mindless smut thing I wrote as comedy relief while Missa and Zevran, uh, wagered
*Chapter 22 is pretty much OGHRENNNNN thanks to the situation of the Deep Roads
*This close to writing a my Warden Commander Thania Cousland and Oghren have a bit of a fling. *this* close.

So soignee, I'm not seeing the problem. =p

Sarah, Oghren's appeal to me, other than being a dwarf, is underneath that crusty exterior and puffed-up bravado he is actually a teddy bear. Kind of like the Jayne character from "Firefly." (Don't know if you've seen it and I can't think of another TV show where I can draw that comparison.)

He was also gross, old (well, that may not be as much of a problem for people older than me), an alcoholic, constantly needed reassurances, redheaded...

What does attractiveness have to do with obsession?

Well if there was no attraction then why in the world would she be tempted to write smut about him and hre Cousland?

See this fic idea I have is Warden Commander Thania and Oghren slowly, slowly falling for each other. I like the idea of him still being a drunkard who loses his pants, but with someone just as broken and slowly they try to fix each other.

As long as it doesn't involve Sigrun and before Felsi I'm cool with it.
