Saladin is a badass, but I think him and anyone else would be freaked out by having a posisioned dagger left on their pillow eh?

Indeed giggles.

The scary thing is that, my family lineage could have made me a very high hanking Hashash lol. Too bad they don't exist anymore....or don't they? *dramatic look*

I could not possibly handle more than 4 PCs, and three is usually a better number for me. Which makes hashing it out in a public forum... kind of rude.  But, to gauge whether or not it's worth bothering...

It would have to be Warden-free. No fair letting one person play an old character, possibly complete with LI, and insist everyone else do over. I'm seeing... Denerim's underbelly. Ignacio's Crow cell, Alienage crooks, guards both corrupt and honest and the Friends of Red Jenny. Never mind what one might come up with based on the Gnawed Noble Tavern quests... Always a rogue at heart, even when GMing. :)

Is that even vaguely attractive?  Or is this community happier to use fanfic for continuations in-world?

Edit: A play-by-post game is sort of collaborative fiction, the way I do it.  One person, the 'game designer' is in charge of the setting and NPC reactions.  Each player has a PC.  We take turns writing what we're doing and saying to each other and the story so unfolds.

Because all traces of their existence ceased to be doesn't mean they don't exist anymore. Of course they failed to kill the Khan of the Mongol Empire, but the Mongols were the ultimate badasses in history.

We are talking of people here who slaughtered an entire country over a fruit basket.

What chances did the Hashashin had?

Where does it mention fruit baskets Costin?

Also my own family is german and english and the coolest person I have in my family is like a farmer who had the most goats or somehting near Cornwall. I can trace my family history back pretty far, but it end up looking like this:

FARMER

FARMER

FAMRER

SOLDIER!

FARMER

FARMER

FARMER HUNG FOR STEALING PIG

FARMER/SOLDIER!

I do have a lot of people who fought in wars in my family though.

I think at least one of my grandfather's fought in WWII but there was a draft so I don't know if that was a career thing or not.

My ancestors came to the US during the massive Ellis Island Immigration era, so I doubt they were missed from the countries they left.

I'm just lucky I know four of the countries my ancestors came from and I'm still not positive which two are from my mother's side and which are from my father's side.

I know where my father's ancestors came from, my mother's I am not sure but the last names give it a general area. In fact, I think my father's last name literally means cheese somewhere in Europe.

My mother's ancestors came from Bulgaria, though they are not Bulgarians but Aromanians ( or Makedonians, whatever you like to call them ) and from what I know my father's have lived in about the same area for generation: In villages near a major city in central Romania.

That's easy.  One side, grandfather was a successful business owner (in a major city).  Other side, grandfather was a farmer and the town judge (small town obviously).  Grandmothers, well, they didn't work outside the house, but i have a feeling that meant very different things for the farmer/judge's wife and the beautiful young wife of the business owner.

Wow, Lady Helmi is SO much nicer to you if you're a DNF than a DNM...

Edit: And if you ask Gorim what she's talking about she says if she were younger she'd sleep with him. Posted Image

You can also apparently point out to Gorim that Lord Dace is mocking him when he's all 'if I had a daughter I'd give her to you' and Gorim sarcastically responds that he's too kind. Yeah, apparently you can play your DN as being really, REALLY bad at this...

Your DN can mention he/she was only teasing and Dace just laughs it off.

Also, the second time I talked to the Captain of the Guard he gave me the Surfacer dialogue and then yelled at me for asking what a Paragon was. I will admit that I probably deserved it, though.

"Are you sure you're still a dwarf? Ancestors have patience, if Branka could hear this...well, I wouldn't be standing in dried blood. If you must be our Warden, at least know us. Go to the Shaper of Memories in the Shaperate. The true bright spot in the Diamond Quarter."
