Yeah, I know ridiculously little about my family although my parents know more. Earlier today (or technically yesterday), for example, my parents were talking about 'Candy's' pregnancy and I had to ask them who it was. It turns out it's my cousin's wife who wedding I was forced to attend last year.

Don't you just love it when your parents "ask" you to attend wedding for people you haven't seen your entire life, or about 15 years ago?

I literally have hundreds of relatives on my mother's side....some of which even she doesn't know all that well...but when a wedding or funeral comes up she is like : "We are going." No matter how many times I tell her to **** off.

In the end I don't go....and when she comes back she is all about how awesome it was....ignoring the fact that you have no contact with these people for most of your life...."facepalm."

She is a woman of over 60 years old...and somehow I am hopping she will lose her memory a bit ( considering her recent medical history that wouldn't surprise me ). But she is still as sharp as a fox....and since she lives in the same building as my brother and I....well...my life is living hell. ( especially now since there are two weddings coming up )

My family situation is, uh... well. My dad is the youngest of seven. My mum is traveller (gypsy) and her side of the family is quite crazy. Literally.

I got buckets of family I've never met, but the inner circle is very close. Went out cycling with my brother yesterday, he almost killed me. >.>

I am thinking your father's side is quite crazy.

Seven bloody children? What the hell.

The only slightly interesting thing about my family is that I'm the middle child of two middle children.

As for ancestry, carpenters, lumberers and farmers.

mannn Oghren is fun to write. I remind myself he shouldn't be the main star of the story I'm working on, and yet somehow the entire plot hinges of his sobriety. IT'S LULZ.

I finally gots Oghern's friendly speech at the gates :Today I will be the warrior you showed me to be"

Well worth the effort to get that IMHO. Chose him to lead the defences this time, and damn he can hit hard with Ageless.

Gilsa's musings on Alithread (of which i was too drunk to take part in last night) made me realise that Missa is based on a lot of females mentally I thought would suit a Brosca, but the main culprit for visuals is this lady:

Mutya Buena. She was in Sugababes, but she left to go solo, effectively destroying Sugababes, pretty much.

Any of you base your Broscas/Aeducans/Orlesians on someone?

My first Dwarf was based off of Thorin Oakenshield from the Hobbit, got pretty close to the artwork. The Sheild of Aeducan and the LEgion of the dead set go well toghther. Shame he went all emo after killing Bhelen and turning down Morrigan's offer while romancing her.

ROFL @ Leiliana and the nug! And Dog is so happy!

It looks like a royal dwarvish wedding. It really does.  ...but without being all "how exotic can we make this?" either.  Awesome.

Charsen....one thing I would like for the mod is that you are allowed to pick where you want the ceremony to take place, rather then having it pre-set by your Origin.

Marrying my HN to Anora in Orzammar would be epic.

Good work Charsen, maybe for people romancing Morrigan, you could have her hidden in the background if you are marrying Anora. Might be a nice touch.

He's just trying to make up for the fact that he hasn't been introduced until near the end.

Not really, no.

Char, I really liked the part where you had the dwarves pounding their staffs in unison. And I like how you reversed the face-grab-kiss so this time Zev is not doing all the romantic work, it's the PC returning the favor! Really feels like the PC is embracing Zev into the culture and dwarven people. If that makes sense. Good job. It all felt very dwarvish. I liked Alistair raising his mug.

Oh pssst, Gilsa, the dwarf scenes are in and uploaded. But i don't have a dwarf yet so they're pretty much completely untested outside of the Toolset Posted Image  (they're also done with the proportion fix running, so dunno what's going to happen if it'd be a vanilla dwarf instead... but probably nothing pretty)
