Ok TMP has given me permission to add his dwarf scenes to CRS-Alistair. I would love input on which of the current scenes in my mod that dwarves get should be removed, and which scene you would like for the actual first night. I can keep it at vanilla, then add tmp's 2 as repeatable, or keep his first night as first night. I also plan to replace the current dwarf kiss in my mod with his new one.

The vanilla first night...in my opinion, sucks for camera angles.BUT I'd rather have both of TMP's scenes be repeatable, so if that requires suffering through first night vanilla, I can live with it. As long as the after talk still triggers of course. Would the pre-tent kiss still work?

It's really a tough choice!

I will make sure his pre-tenting dwarf kiss is included. I can still make all repeatable. It's just what you think is best for the first night! If you prefer tmp's then thats what it will be! Vanilla will still be repeatable as will both of his.

Either I'm seeing too much in expressions, or Endrin was in on the DN's entrapment...

TMP's beats Vanilla hands down in my opinion. So if they can be done that way, it has my vote. I just thought there was some reason the couldn't be but yes, if they can...do that!...lol

My god, what happened to this thread? It's become a place to share Dwarven smut?

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, this is the internet after all.

You mean it looked like he knew that he'd find Trian? I don't think he did since he looked convincingly upset and liked you so much better than Bhelen although Duncan did tell you that Endrin was afraid something like that might happen so apparently he picked up on the hostility between you, Bhelen, and Trian. Not to mention that he's quickly deciding to cut his losses as far as you're concerned even though his note claims he never actually thought you did it. On the one hand, that might just be him wanting to assure you he always believed you were innocent since he now believes so but on the other...I think it's a lot worse for him to allow his innocent child to die then having been overwhelmed and misled and realize that he made a horrible mistake.

Edit: Or, while I think it's possible he could have been at least okay with Trian dying because he didn't think he was a suitable heir (which we don't know if he thought that but the fact he sends you off to find the Shield and strengthen your case to be the heir instead it's likely he wanted you to be the heir) I don't believe he'd be fine with framing the one he wanted to succeed him in favor of his youngest child that really didn't seem to be anything special.

But at least it's on topic. And there's still lore things if you look. Last night, for instance, I found out some interesting things from the Shaper. And my hatred for Vartag tripled. Posted Image

*throws tomatoes at Herr* That was terrible on so many levels.

Random questions about dwarves:

1. Where do they get the material to make clothes?

2. Do they have rope? And if yes, is it sturdy rope?

3. What kind of instruments do they play?

4. Fill in the blanks: Dwarves love to _________ with their ________ except when ________ is ________.

Let's see...
1) They likely import most of it from the Surface. In the dwarf origins they show Surface dwarves down in Orzammar selling things and in the DN one they specifically mention that they trade things like steel for the clothes. Of course, their armor seems to be made from material they can mine.
2) I'm not sure if they make their own but they do import a great deal in exchange for steel and lyrium (which is where most of their wealth comes from)
3) We did talk about this awhile back but I can't quite remember what people said. I think pipes they could make with bones might have been one of them?
4) Dwarves love to plot with their allies except when betrayal is afoot.

Random questions about dwarves:

Yay fun!

1. Where do they get the material to make clothes?

Merchant traders. Cloth appears to be inexpensive enough for even dusters to wear, but leather is easier to get hold of I should imagine.

2. Do they have rope? And if yes, is it sturdy rope?

Yep, I can imagine a metal threaded rope being sturdy as ****. Dwarves are good at making practical things.

3. What kind of instruments do they play?

Funnily enough we were talking about this last week. Stuff made from metal and leatehr skins, so bells, drums and pipes.

4. Fill in the blanks: Dwarves love to _________ with their ________ except when ________ is ________.

Dwarves love to tinker with their weapons except when alchohol is present? Mannn that one was lame.

Import. Brontos for leather.

I don't know how they could have built Orzammar without rope, so I'd assume that they have it.

3. What kind of instruments do they play?

Drums and tuba.

4. Fill in the blanks: Dwarves love to cuddle with their nugs except when hunger is present.

I appreciate your answers, everyone. Though it leads me to thinking:

1. What did dwarves wear before surface trading was common (hurr hurr)?

2. Figured they had to have it, it just seems odd. But metal infused rope, you think? Sounds kinky.

3. No bassoons? Guess I can't make any bassoon jokes again. =( *is sad*

4. They weren't bad answers, just a bad prompt. I applaud all of your efforts, though! *is slightly cheered up and wants to play Mad Libs now*

1) Good point. Leather/metal/fur, perhaps?

2) Zevran approves, obviously. "This rope is non slip! Marvellous. You dwarves make things to last, yes?"

3) Ah throw a bassoon in there, no one will no any better,

4) <3
