I did. The only difference I can think of was this one was the only one I made a new character for and didn't just import from the character creator. Are you supposed to wait for a character to upload normally before changing their picture?Lady Jess wrote...

Mine won't upload either despite the fact I've had no problem with the other eight I did the exact same way. Or should I say, it uploaded but this da_game_other/portraits/1771000/1770297/1770297.png is all that showed up. If I can't see it then why bother using it?soignee wrote...

Do you need help getting it uploaded? You'll need to crop it down to 146 by 146 pixels and save it as a .png.
I followed this: http://social.biowar...8720/blog/2142/ to the letter.
Here's the image I want:
http://pics.livejour...oe/pic/0009x0wr
it's bang on 146x146 and saved as natia_portrait in the right folder (the throwaway character I used for this purpose.)
Did you make sure to go into the character file, right click the image and check "read only"? Otherwise it will get over-written by the game portrait every time.

Which is awesome in the hip area. <3 dwarf ass.
It's pretty bitable. Mannn I got this urge to draw Missa showing off her tramp stamp creatively now. GDI!
Once again this thread has sparked the creation of risque dwarf pics.
The system works.

It looks like he just smelled something peculiar.
Every time I make a dwarf noble, knowing that I'll just end up with a different love interest, I always trigger his romance just because he is so awesome. When I romance Leliana next on my dwarf, it's probably going to be a noble and I'll still activate Gorim's romance regardless! =DLady Jess wrote...

Well Bhelen IS standing right beside him.that look, too! And unless I'm much mistaken this is right after Bhelen tells them that Trian's out to kill her. Of course he doesn't look pleased.

That kind of confused me as well. He looks like he wants to say something and is upset but he doesn't bother saying anything to the child that's going to die and just looks sad for you. Still, Endrin himself doesn't have anything to gain from you getting exiled because people like you and if Bhelen's support is that strong you don't need to be gone. The only way possibility I can see is if he's trying to avoid the succession dispute between you and Bhelen that people were speculating would happen between you and Trian and that happened anyway with Bhelen and Harrowmont. Still, since he can't actually manage to just stand back and let Bhelen take the throne then why wouldn't he try to neutralize Bhelen? Plus I really didn't get the impression he was all that fond of him.Lady Jess wrote...
The look I mentioned earlier that made me suspect Endrin knows something is this one, when he sends you on your special mission. He can't even look you in the eye to finish saying Ancestors look over you. He looks crushed.
You can't really see it from where you're standing, though, although Harrowmont might be able to. I really want to know what their story is because it's clear that they already can't stand each other even before Trian's death and Harrowmont desperately wants to believe that you're innocent and that it's all Bhelen's fault from the start.I suspect it's because Bhelen is ticked off that his sibling gets this special mission. This exchange of looks says ALOT. And I failed to see it on Aidan. It gives me the idea to play it, that she knew right then he was going to betray her. She had told him she wanted Trian dead, she's screwed. But, whatever it takes to keep Trian off the throne will be her thinking I think.
I did the non-romantic-at-all Gorim origin and that was fine although not as interesting (I just can't manage the humbled one again. Seriously, it was awful!) I'm kind of jealous of the lines that the guys can get with him, particularly the one where he suggests you show up to the next feast in elf ears just to screw with everybody's head.Gilsa wrote...

Perhaps he's just worried since it's your first commission and he really wants it to go well? If he knew you wouldn't be coming back then why would he waste the shield's prestige on you? Basically, I think the glory for finding it went to freaking Ivo since the scout was a warrior/possibly dead. He'd have saved that for Bhelen or at least Piotin to find just to keep the glory in the family.

Oh, and Serena is very pretty.
I like your angle. My first two Brosca were rogues, but this Brosca is a warrior this time. I really liked the idea of her having zero social skills and just being good at being a brute. She let Leske do all the sweet talking and she is letting Alistair do the same on behalf of Grey Warden business. She has no finense and is not adept at sneaking around. It's a very nice contrast to Zevran and provides a better RP excuse than "she's attracted to him because they're both rogues and have a lot in common la la." It would be boring for me to go that route.Lady Jess wrote...

I wasn't planning on another DNF. But, I couldn't resist. And I couldn't get into anyone else. So, what the hell, TMP's tent scene, the chance to play the sneaky, stealthy, conniving, kinslayer were irresistable.
Yes, completely powerless to stop it...except, of course, by using his power as the only person in Orzammar who had the power to stop your exile to, you know, stop your exile. But NO. Apaprently the throne that he offered to Harrowmont was too important for that. Or: you matter less to him than keeping a progressive off the throne.Lady Jess wrote...
I don't think Endrin knew WHAT was going to happen, or had anything at ALL to do with it. No, rather I think, from that look that he knows SOMETHING is brewing, that Trian and Bhelen are up to something, and there's not much, if anything he can do to stop it.

Ugh, talking about him makes me feel like a horrible person because I know that, Gilsa, at least forgave him after hearing how much he suffered before he died but I'd imagine that that part's the same no matter which origin you play and so he still killed you. It's a case of too little, too late. And the fact he knew you were innocent (regardless of whether you actually were) but wanted to keep the throne and then changed his mind and made killing you utterly pointless...Yeah, I can't get past that.
If he hadn't changed his mind though and Harrowmont had taken it upon himself to oppose Bhelen for what he did and perhaps some of the other deshyrs asked him to then it would be easier to forgive. Still, he admits that he could have stopped the Assembly and made them do an inquiry but he was worried they might find out the truth and then Bhelen can't take the throne either.Lady Jess wrote...

Saving face maybe? Here you are the most powerful man in Orzimmar, and your children are plotting and scheming to kill each other, set each other up. you're in the deep roads, with heads of noble houses, and the grey wardens of all things, and you can't control your own kids. If you do something in public the dirty laundry shows out from under the armor a bit, and you worry about weakening your house with dishonor. Which, above all things, Honor is what counts. He has no choice but to let them fight their own battles, and pray to the stone they don't succeed in killing each other.
After the events unfold, well, he COULD do something it's true. But how do you, when your oldest son is dead, your middle child is framed by your youngest son, and there's absolutely no proof of any of it, and you have to answer to the assembly. And really Bhelen did a GREAT job of things, including taking advantage f what he knew would be a heartbroken and very OLD man.
Also, just had a serious heart attack and alt+f4'ed my game closed in a panic because Trian was alive...ACK not expecting that.
