My Aeducan gave her shield to her human boyfriend. I PLAY ROGUES GDI! Like hell was he using Duncan's Shield >.> Or the Fade Wall, despite groovy stats.

She's in the middle of reconciling that herself. At the moment.  She's talked to Gorim, read Endrin's letter, forgiven him. But she hasn't quite forgiven Orzammar, definitely hasn't forgiven Bhelen...and is slightly irked that even though Endrin essentially disowned the little brat and considered her his only child at the end, he still thinks he
has a claim to the throne. I think it's safe to say right now, she considers herself a Grey Warden, and is fighting to not think of herself as Princess Aeducan, pushing it away with resentment and bitterness because she can't prove it was self defense, even to herself. Yet.

Once she has that proof in hand however...

Sadly he isn't her boyfriend. Yet. But he is her family, he is a better brother than her blood was, and if it tweaks BrattybrotherBhelen's big fat potato nose, all the better. And I personally think the Ancestors would see THAT as less of an insult than what Bhelen did to his own family.

dual daggers, dual axes, dual swords, a dagger and a sword, a sword and a dagger, a sword and and axe...the possibilities are numerous.

And by 'give' do you mean 'loan' or 'it is his to do with what he wants even giving it to a fighting-inclined niece/nephew'? As long as he's just using it and it's still technically hers it would bother me a lot less.

My non-mages are so boring in comparsion. Non-DN's use the Starfang greatsword and DN's use the Starfang longsword and shield of Aeducan.

Why should I bother with proper specs? If I can beat the enemies then it's good enough.

Edit: Oh, and aside from the PC the only person whose armor I change is Alistair's right before we go into the Landsmeet as I would be embarrassed to nominate him as King in the flimsy armor he wears at Ostagar.

I myself eventually decided I would just settle for the equipment I liked... Then I got the Winter Forge and could give all my equipment whatever stats and looks I wanted. Problem solved.



And isn't the Shield of Aeducan restricted to the main character anyway? Or is that just in improved atmosphere...

It was, I zapped it with the requirement removal wand. And since I run IA, I'm not sure if it's restricted in vanilla.

No, anyone can apparently use it. Not that I would know but chances are sooner or later someone will link a picture of Alistair holding it.

Yep.

Of course I did. He was quite useful before I got Wynne or Zevran and when I was looking for his sword.

Depending on my character I will run about with companions. Since I am not a mage (loldwarves) usually Wynne/Morrigan are in it regardless, but Missa in game ran with Zevran, Alistair, Sten and Morrigan.



Aeducan was Alistair, Shale and Wynne, weirddlllllly enough.



Dalish was Morrigan, Sten and Dog. >.>

So what's the verdict? Does she give the shield to Alistair or just let him use it? If they broke up and, say, he went off to Orlais while she returned to Orzammar who would the shield go with?

how do you cope without a mage? I depend on them for too much (lol i say this like I still play the game, LOL)
