Someone alerted a mod to a troll, and they cleaned house, picking up every broken ToS or whatever.

AHA much better. I didn't care for my dwarf becoming suddenly genius mode about the fade and demons. So I reloaded. And I noticed I had an option saying "I need to talk to a mage first". So, I chose it. Teagan tells you if a mage is among your companions, go talk to them. So I went back to camp, talked to Morrigan and she enlightened me.

Doesn't matter who's "thing" it is. It's the meaning of the name that matters. And it means good friend, so it suits Dog just fine. I'm sure 20+ years in Orzammar you'd hear the word at least once.

2. Someone decides to be an internet badass and rallies others to take up arms to chase troll out.
3. Some genius also decides to personally summon a moderator to open a can of whoop-ass on troll.
4. Moderator not only shows up, but goes through every page of the thread to clean house. (Pretty sure there was a warning left on the thread, too.)
5. In short, you were not the only one who got banned. You were merely collaterial damage.
