@tmp--Your Soris is blonde. *dies on the inside* :crying:

Ah yeah it's a retcon pic of sorts, with "elves of lore" mod installed -- http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=880  i rather liked what it did to the faces.

Shianni is still her redhead self though, can't remember what reasoning i used for not changing Soris' hair back.

edit: oh yeah, he's dark blonde to sort of bridge the gap between the blondes and redheads in the family. or smth like that. Posted Image

Yes, I am color blind. I still wanted it.

Edit: Not really color blind.

Anyone know if there's a clothing store mod? Because that would rock.

ooooooooooo I SO gotta try it.... sucks that you lose it once you get arrested

what is it? a fancy dress and a suit for the guys? I don't think I ever went to that merchant....

Crappy quality, of course, but here are the two outfits for both genders.

Incidentally, I discovered that you can easily get enough money for the more expensive outfit by simply looting the Palace. Especially Bhelen's room. Posted Image

wooooooooooooooooooow those are cool! squeeee!

That's what the DN and HN should be in instead of armor.... I mean really... at the start of the HN origin? Who puts on full armor in your house?

The rest of the family has normal clothes on

Well, in the DN origin they explain why you're wearing armor: there's a feast to celebrate your first military commission and it's tradition. For the HN, though...yeah, not much sense. There's a mod that fixes that, I think, but that wouldn't help you out much.

That's explained too. At least as a warrior, Dairren calls you beautiful and Mom says "and he says that after seeing you sweat like a pig fighting stuffed sacks" or something like that. The HN is a trained fighter too, showing up in Armor makes perfect sense.

The fact that they are a trained fighter doesn't explain why they wander around in armor all day but if they just came in from training then that would.

LOL

Then maybe that's it? Like how come dad didn't say 'just came in from the sparring grounds?' Nope....

I know its no biggie, but it just looks weird lmao

Nonvita's guide to making a decent looking elf:

1. Make the eyes wider

2. Make the nose wider

3. Make the mouth wider

4. Make the jaw and chin wider

5. Make the neck wider

Voila!

Now if only I could manage to make any males come out right. =(

And I wish the DN started in normal clothing as well. Even if it's celebrating their military commission, it seems like a regular outfit would be fine. I dunno, for some reason seeing characters start out in armor just seems weird to me (*uses the HN origin mod*).

Hey, Nonvita, I was just looking around Denerim and noticed some of the different dresses NPCs were wearing. Would either of these have worked as a CE wedding dress for you? Just curious.

I don't know why it isn't set for rogue too, ack of attention to non warriors by bioware I think. But yes, I always assumed you were out training before Bryce summoned you, since the only origins to start with Armor besides HN do have a reason, and the ones with clothing have reason.

She leaves you a dagger, right? And she's been dead for a few years and having weapons isn't allowed so it was up to Cyrion's discretion what to keep to pass along to you.

Ooo Gilsa to the rescue! The style of the one on the left is quite nice, but the color's a little weird. I don't know how hard it is to recolor things, but it would be awesome if it were white/cream, or just something more attractive in general. *hopes she's not being too greedy XD*

She left you a dagger that you receive once you go back to the Alienage, but it's bugged and as far as I know there aren't any mods to fix it (haven't checked in awhile though). So you're supposed to get a pretty good dagger but instead get a really crappy one.<_<

I use a mod that made the boots better, as well, but I can't remember which one at the moment. It's nice to actually have some use for something so sentimental, though.

Ok.... the dagger I'm assuming is what you get if you save dad from the slavers at the end right?

She did, you get it eventually as part of the Landsmeet arc. Well, it's dagger not a sword but still.

Oh, I have no idea how to get that dress. I was just looking at this and thinking, "hey, why aren't these available to the PC?" It's pretty easy to get the Marjoline/Anora style dress, but the rest of the game? Nah. Unless there's a console command to spawn that dress in your inventory? You could use the wand mod to recolor it easy-peasy.
