RIGHT, I'm in a whiney mood due to excess of gin and BOYS BEING STUPID today, so bare with me while I rant.

1) I get wildly defensive when people start hating on dwarves. Specifically the looks of. When I am grouchy I will fire back, but usually I lol and get back in my box and write moar porn. Thanks to my excesses last night I'm grouchy, so GUESS WHAT.

2) Even the passing hate always comes with an underlying mesage of "I like the lore but they're ugly. I just can't get past the arms/noses/fatness." My brain parses it as," ______ people are ugly. But I do like the food, though. And those funny little cultural dances they do."

3) Even if the above is politely mentioned POLITELY in a POLITE WAY I still see the undertone of "oh, you funny thing. I've already said I liked the culture, what more do you want?"

4) I am aware comparing in real life race fail with a computer game is LULZ, but to a point. Fantasy genres have always plundered from world culture, something Tolkien really put the patent on. 

5) I am running out of bullet points. I'm just going to add here that I really hate arguing on the internets, I'm bad at it.

6) *mutters into tea and realises she's not actually a dwarf in real life, even if plastic surgery was an option*

Anywhoooo, I actually like how the Dwarves look like in DA. Much better than the typical Dwarves I've known from before. Practicaly no one beats Kardol in badass looks and he appeared for what, 5 minutes?

I know, tastes etc so forth I MENTIONED THE GRUMP, YES? YES.

Because of my queer, uh, trope and the fact what I find attractive varies I really hate it when people say: "I don't find _____ attractive. Just don't." Makes me rage. I'm not talking about gender here, but types.

I got pie and tea, I'm slowly thawing.

The more of a check list you have for what you find attractive, the more single you're going to be, like as example, if someone had a list likeeeee:

--Must be college educated
--Petite redhead
--Like comics
--Can cook
--Thin
--Can dance
--Have my sense of humour
--Likes kung fu movies
etc&so forth

Yeah, they're going to be chasing a myth.

Incidently, my checklist is:

--I find them attractive
--Conversation is easy
--They're human and alive.

...That's about it.

It's too big a list, with varying sections including physique, upbringing, personality yaddi yadda, with classified preferences and deal breakers and all that.

To be honest the arms did bother me. I hate all the proportions in the vanilla game, actually, but I had to blind myself to it. Only after tmp's proportions fix was I able to play an elf too. He mentioned working on a "tall dwarf" style body for humans too, which I'll download the instant he releases.



With tmp's dwarf proportion fix I stop constantly to take pics of my dwarf because she looks so cute. >.> It was never a height thing or a weight thing. If anyone made dwarves taller or thinner I would smack them. Talk about defeating the purpose. IDEK what I am saying anymore and I am sounding horribly shallow ;-;

Because I am mostly lazy and my screenshot thingie button was broken when I did her playthrough, and only have the 'official' ones that everyone has seen on their characters. I can link them if you like.

I am hearing things about family and therapy that I never heard of before. Things like that make me happy of being born a Middle Easterner, and into a great family.

Oh don't get me wrong, I had a great childhood. My mom raised me by herself, and we didn't have much but I never went without. Even when her only income was part time work at I think...around $2-$3/hour. We'd do really fun things together  camping, amusement parks, sometimes even a week's vacation somewhere. And we kind had a sisterly relationship by the time I was a teen (though she'd kick my ass if I had it comin...lol). My mom was, and still is awesome:)
