hmmm ok I know I'll max out stealing and coecerin....

but does anyone use herbalism? poison making? traps?

I do poisons, never herbalism though. You don't need it to collect herbs, and Morrigan and wynne both have it when you get them. Traps...meh I took it, bt forgot I had it so I never used it.

hmmmm Wynne is more suited for it... rogues should probably poison their gear

So in-game rogue skills are stealing, cocerein, poison making, deft hands, and stealth?

I don't bother with poison or traps, but I will do herbalism if I'm doing an all warrior/rogue party (which is often). I do max out traps for disarming since you get XP for the disarms.

I have a scar at my knee. And at one point, I really wanted a scar on my eye....good thing I didn't want it too much.

In other news, my brother picked Bhelen for king. But, he initially wanted to pick Harrowmont. When I asked him why, he said he was afraid Bhelen would make the dwarves too strong. But I told him to read the codexes more carefully, which made him realise that the dwarves need to be strong. I am quite proud.

Still, he isn't a Dwarf and Bhelen fan yet, which is why I insisted he plays the DN origins asap.

You don't need traps for disarm. Save your points:) Thats based on the deft hands (lockpicking) talents.

Ah, doh. I will visit a raven and respec whoever is doing the traps. I usually maxed out lockpicking until I got the lockbash mod.

I concur....having a scar on your face isn't a good thing as some might think. ( I have one, a reminder from a fight long ago )

My brother went all human mage routine, but killed the mages and took the templars ( what can I say...Knights Templar/Teutonic/ Hospitallier are something of a fascination for us ).. Spared Zevran....romanced Leliana over Morrigan.....why he can like the bard more then Morrigan I can't say, but to his credit he DID harden Leliana before romancing her. Got Sten and slaughtered elves ( he hates any elf with a passion since WoW ).

When it came to choosing a king for the dwarves he asked me for advice. I only told him to do Harrowmont's first quest then meet the guy before deciding....he said he wanted punch the old man ( reminded him of politicians in our country, don't ask ) and wanted the option to execute Harrowmont himself when choosing a king. Intimidated the slaver to leave with his slaves and leave everything else, let Vaughn rot in his cell, same for Sorris.

Spared Loghain, killed Alistair ( had the bastard Theirin at -100 by now "chuckles, for all my dislike of Alistair I never did that ). Refused the DR ( something about making a child using blood magic troubled him ), did the US himself.

May I ask why you wanted a scar on your eye?

A good thing, no...but not hideous and can't be looked at...lol

I like my beat up Brosca though. She has character. Her and Alistair aren't getting along though. This could be a rough game...lol

Sounds like you had alot of fun with your brother's game. That's really cool. Hoping hubby plays some when he gets home. Maybe I can get him to slow down and rp a bit this time. He had no luck romancing Morrigan last time, or Leliana...lol

Ok, why can't my DCF go fight in the provings? my DNF did it on the way to do Bhelen's first task, the proving master said I could (after he had a hissy fit...lol) but it's still saying it opens in a few hours.

His exceptional hatred of elves irks me somewhat....almost killed Zevran for it, but by the end of his game he decided Zevran wasn't really an elf....as elves are ( his own words ): "Pathetic."

Having played an elf for almost 2 years in WoW. I had the desire to punch him for that remark.

Ok, why can't my DCF go fight in the provings?

I suppose it is a bug...but do accept the quest from Dulin first, then you should be able to AFTER you saved Dace ( assuming your siding with Bhelen on your DC? )

I got an irrational hatred for people who play warrior/rogue types who look incapable of holding a sword and have STUPID HAIR. We all have our weird fandom quirks, Costin.

I sympathize, I played a Night Elf druid for many years. Til faction changes were available and my alliance guild imploded, now she's a tauren. But yeah, I don't get the elf hate...lol (Ok, maybe blood elves ...a little)

Yes, I'm siding with Bhelen on my dc, all for Rica. and her little nephew. I already accepted the quest from vartag though. Which I did on my DN too, maybe I need to hit up tapsters first. After all, I get a free brew! Witch wouldn't serve Serena...lol

Hey now, Night Elves are HUGE dangit. Now tose blood elves on the other hand...even if I play one (shadow priest, and pally) I still wanna feed them some serious fat content.

Hmm . . . great minds think alike.

*has an irrational hatred of Elves due to WoW*

Fittingly, I played a Troll rogue.

Eh, I don't mind them. I just don't like the type of RPers/players they attract, if you see what I mean. So much faillllll.

What do you mean by in trouble? The entire game is playable by any class, nothing that can be hurt by choosing rogue.

Pfft, I was one of those who celebrated when blood elves were announced. We were hoping that our server's night elves would jump over to the horde so those players would now be the horde's problem and we could start killing them in battlegrounds. In all seriousness, the elf race just attracts certain types of annoying players and the normal people who play elves suffer by association. It's the same thing as horde players hunting down gnomes. It's for fun. Mostly. =p
