It could be worse. At least he doesn't sacrifice his life for an elf because he was just so much in love with him that he couldn't live without him.Costin_Razvan wrote...
Bleh...Tug is awesome but he sacrifices his life for an ELF!
Edit: I'm going to have to go in a few minutes so before anyone asks 'what's wrong with that?', I don't like characters sacrificing themselves for their LI or, worse, someone they have unrequited feelings for. No need to defend how awesome or touching it is, I just don't like it.

Ahh, you are right; i didn't read close enough but now that you mention it he posted something to that effect in the Alistair thread.Costin_Razvan wrote...
Tmp: Knight is away for one week, or else I would have refuted his arguments regarding Orzammar

Oh well probably for the better -- in the sense this particular tangent was getting too long to possibly bother with another set of replies

I managed to finish an alpha version for my mod, not sure how well it works for others but it does work for me quite well.
Find it here: link
- Increased Hammerhead Regeneration Rate by 200 and Reduced Delay until shields start regenerating from 5 seconds to 0.5
- Increased Hammerhead Damage by about 300 and improved firing rate from 125 to 200.
- Increased Henchmen Damage with all weapons to be equal to Shepard's own, also increased Enemy and Henchmen Shotgun Damage Multyplier to 1.4. ( NOTE: This will not affect the Locust SMG, Eviscerator Shotgun, Collector Assault Rifle and Incisor Sniper Rifle )
- Increased Henchemen and Enemy HP by about 50%, also improved their attack rate and reduced enemy shields.
- Increased Shepard's Shield Delay time to 2.0 ( on Insanity ).
- Gave certain squad members an aditional weapon: Tali ( Sniper Rifle ), Mordin/Jack/Jacob ( Assault Rifle ), Garrus ( SMG ), Legion/Grunt ( Pistol ). ( NOTE: Currently you can only cycle between two weapons, as such these henchmen will not be able to use their pistols or, in Garrus's case, their SMG ).

The greatest challenge was finding the RIGHT values...I gave enemies too much hp once, and I regretted it. ( Imagine facing a Heavy Mech with a double bonus to it's shield, not pretty I tell you ).
It will also take me far longer to balance this for Hard, Normal and Easy.....
Of course my brother will kill me for this once I tell him. He hates the Hammerhead with a passion, and he can't change it on the Xbox ( chuckle ).

I would call him Harris Commander of Cailan's Honor Guard and fiercely loyal to Loghain, though he understands that the Teryn must be stopped or else it would spill disaster.
He would favor the more pragmatic choices in the game, and would turn on you at the Landsmeet, should you choose to kill Loghain, along with the Royal Guard, Cauthrien ( if she is still alive ), and Loghain's troops.

no, mine would just be Missa as I'm boring like that. Bisexual duster who's even more bitter and angry at being under Jarvia's thumb for a year. She would be picked up at Jarvia's Hideout once you start Orzammar.
And then she would sleep with Oghren.
Good times.

nuuuuuuuuuuuu!
I planned for her to be romancable (though not in a Jack way oh god nuuuu.) Her approval is based on and her gifts are useful things, like a compass, a map, a whetstone, lockpick set...
I think I can cope with sorting out the conversation trees. The voice actress would be a problem (not me, I can't do an American voice for toffee.) Missa sounds like a gravelly fem!Shep in my head.

I wonder if I would even be able to create such a mod that changes already made cutscenes...hmm.

Too many American actors these days anyway....

Dwarves have American accents. A British-sounding dwarf would feel more like a native of Ferelden then of Orzammar.Costin_Razvan wrote...
