The new protagonist for DA2 has a second/family name of Hawke. Similar to Mass Effect, you can give him/her the first name. I went with Mike.
Mike Hawke isn't tainted, apparently. Mike Hawke is a big damn hero. Mike Hawke is such a hard bastard- okay, okay. I'll stop now.

I need more information to be sufficently inflamed, to be honest. DA2 could just be another Awakening.* And it doesn't guarantee that dwarves and elves won't return in DA3 or whatever. They have a specific story they want to tell in DA2 and they made the decision that one defined character (a la Commander Shepard) was the best way forward to accomplish that. He got sad twice in the origin. First time: DN refused to hear him out about Trian so he couldn't trick him into committing fratricide and so it was less awesome (but still incredibly awesome). Second time: Endrin completely ignored him again to go kneel by stupid Trian's body and arrest DN. Some days...KnightofPhoenix wrote...

She looks fine with a regular bow. The crossbow blocks her face when she aims and it's a tad harder to get nicer screenshots. (I had wanted her with a cross bow and leave Leli with the regular bow just to keep them different.) Ooh. I was planning my 2nd dwarf (no, DA2 has not killed my desire to play DA:O) and I was gonna make her an archer since I've been playing so many DW but was told a dwarf archer was weird. I like the way this looks though, so I'll probably keep her as an archer

While I'll admit I'm not going for nice, if they really think that's ****y...well, they must not have very much experience with dwarves. I mean, seriously, it was just a lack of any sympathy for poor people trying to kill her or desire to spare surrendering people who tried to kill her.Wow, you're character is kind of a ****, considering her thoughts and actions. But I guess it makes sense since you are making a character as realistic as possible from Orzammar and the background. Heh I'm just used to
having the main character be merciful and spare and save as much as he/she can.
