I was a bit surprised with Alistair's dialogue when I had him at -100 approval. Oh well, he has a date with the executioner

So my next tattoo is already chosen. But I have yet another in mind. I really love the DC rise from nothing to something great. I also really love a song called "The Girl I am" and was considering just getting that text done. Now I think I might just have the text put on along with the damned Brosca Brand. Because dammit I love video games, I love DA:O best, and I really love my Brosca...and I damned well did come from NOTHING to be the girl I am today.

"Slash" is a subset of erotic fiction, one which deals with homosexual pairings. It's like apple is a fruit but not all fruits are apples.Costin_Razvan wrote...
What? huh?
Slash Fiction is by definition porn fiction....I don't get what you are talking about....

I've heard a rumor that in the next game if you get a tattoo there will be a 50% chance of it becoming infected and melting your face off.

If this thread is still here when I get it done I will:)
My first is a toby keith song called "Whiskey Girl" on my left upper arm, I got it 5 years ago. My very next is being done on a "date" with hubby, we're both getting a tat to commemorate getting through this maker forsaken deployment from hell (mine's a little dogtag that says "hunny"...I never call him by name so...). THEN comes the brand.
my first...while it was healing, forgive the shiny

The brand? upper right arm I think. Won't do my neck...my hair covers it...lol And I'm far too clumsy with my legs to get it there, constantly beating them up or cutting them shaving >.<

I find that tats are personal and have meaning... for the most part.. like you said a way of identifying yourself... and long lasting in the sentiment.. I'm 63 and my tat still "talks" of me

That's the only way I'll get one myself. It has to have meaning. Be something I love, or that I'm proud of, or that is "me".
When we first heard the Toby Keith song "Whiskey Girl" my husband about died laughing when we both realized that was MY song. So when I decided to get my first, that was it. The four roses with it, were 4 years as an army wife (theres a poem about that) at the time.
Edit to add "Thank You" because I'm scatterbrained and forgot to put that first >.<

I plan on getting a fleur de lys and my son's name written under it (he was born in May, so his birth flower would be a lily).
I like tattoos, and if I wasn't becoming a teacher I would get a lot more than I plan on.

I'll admit, when we had our Ball last year I was worried about mine showing, silly of me. But hell half the wives have bigger tats and more of them, I felt under-inked...lol

Tattoos scare me. A lot. I have a needle thing.
Ironically, so do I. I hate hate hate getting shots. But, to be honest? the tatto kind hurt a hell of a lot less. In fact, I just stopped feeling it after a while. The only time it even kind of hurt was when they got to the edge that reaches the back of my arm.

I remember once getting a shot of some kind in my arm. I couldn't move either of my arms for a week after it was done.
I now stay away from needles.

Tetanus shots are my nemesis! Why they insist on puting the bloody thing in the BACK of the bicept (ok I think it's the tricep) is beyond me but after my last one I was miserable. Bastards.

So when I played Leliana's Song the other night I did keep switching to Tug even though I hate being a warrior. Unfortunateley, he just wan't around enough for me to be all that emotionally invested in him so when he died it was just 'oh, another NPC' died instead of ' oh no, a beloved companion died!' And since I've managed to get upset about the deaths of people who had far less screentime/lines than him...I just don't know why I wasn't really bothered. Maybe it was the stupid decision to show his corpse before he even had any lines right after it showed his introduction? I was just waiting for him to bite it.

Really? The game's not going to come out for ages and the new location possibly new time period means that you have to worry about it being AU less.Costin_Razvan wrote...
I have lost all interesting of writing the war of Shadows after the removal of dwarves as playable race...sigh.
Off topic: So last night I redid part of the DN origin again (by this point I practically have it memorized
(IF: Female) Trian: "Perhaps you were right, Bhelen, when you said our sister wasn't all useless breeding flesh." (The speaker is being rather disdainful of sibling.)
(IF: Male) Trian: "Perhaps you were right, Bhelen, when you said our brother wasn't entirely without regard for his duty and station." (The speaker is being rather disdainful of sibling.)
Trian: "I'll be along later to toast your command."
Whereas if you tell him not to talk to Gorim like that, that you'll do whatever you want, or drag Bhelen into the conversation and thus annoy him but respond to his "Now then, you, get to the feast" with a 'yes brother' you get
In addition to the fact that the dialogue points out that he never actually does do this, why is he so much less abrasive if you take your time agreeing to do so? Is it because the first time he only says this:Trian: "That's my proper, dutiful sister/brother." (Speaker is showing some grudging approval of his sibling.)
Trian: "I'll be along later to toast your command."
while the second time he actually orders you to do so so if you go the first time then you're just admitting that he's right (which he could be no matter how you think of him/act towards him) but if you do so the second time you're respecting his authority?Trian: "Especially since duty requires that you attend our king father at the feast today." (This is said accusingly, with a harsh edge.)
Trian: "Have you so little respect for him to disregard his wishes on a day set aside for you?" (This line is said with a great deal of disapproval and contempt, almost.)
And I'm still peeved by that 'useless breeding flesh' remark. Honestly, if he weren't the named Prince I would really wonder at how he ever managed to get a girlfriend.
