Really? The game's not going to come out for ages and the new location possibly new time period means that you have to worry about it being AU less. 

Well, Hawke is a refugee from Lothering. So it is the same time period (Totally called simultaneous).

I would love it if people keep asking if he knew the Hero of Ferelden since she (although they may put it at a default 'he' unless they go the KotOR2 and have the gender/origin set in a conversation for mild reference purposes) since she passed through Lothering at one point and annoying the hell out of him. And if they don't I will probably eventually have to write a one-shot to that effect.

Dammit, if they were gonna have Hawke be in Lothering when we were, he should have been referenced. Maybe one of his/her friends saying something like, "Yeah, my friend Hawke has already left for the Free Marches." or something.

That is adorable. I love how Oghren's weapon is bigger than his head. In fact, you could probably fit three Oghren-head's on it.

Well, he usually makes OOTS style avatars He has made a heap of other OOTS style art though linkie.

And female to be Claudia Black...both she and Templeman are experienced voice actors and can play different accents. Obviously people would realize eventually without looking at the credits, but they would do a very good job at it.

 You all thought Maric was the only one with bastarsd running around? Why do you think he was so hesitant about the very thought of creating another one with Morrigan? 

Now THAT would be a HELL of a backstory. I am SO stealing this for my FF.

"Hawke" could have been the mother's last name and do we have any information on when Loghain was married? It was after the rebellion but only by a few years at most because then Anora was born, right? It could have been a premarital affair.

Except how could the Queen hide a pregnancy?

That kid was actually the first person I thought of when it was mentioned Hawke was from Lothering. No one else there really makes sense. The alternative is that this is an invisible character we did not see in Lothering so they don't have to address the gender issue of a female Hawke.

I already found a very suitable name for Hawke: Gareth, in the memory of his grandfather.

Because maybe Rowan tried to keep it a secret from both Loghain and Maric? With them busy taking down Meghren they probably wouldn't have noticed she was pregnant if she was clever enough.

Yeah. You could tell him to get lost, give him 5 silver to eat, or direct him to the chantry. He's the kid that asks if you're a dwarf and you can say "did my height give me away?"

I get the impression that Hawke is an adult when he flees Lothering. He starts his adventures during the blight in Ferelden, not 10 years later.
