Defiling the ashes is not destroying the ashes.

It's not like you smashed the pot.

You mean he forgot about the ritual? Yeah, I think he suppressed the memory. There's a mod that fixes it and then he frets about the cost.

But I killed Genitivi, so how would the Chantry find out about the Ashes if no one came back to report that it existed?

She witnessed the Defiling, and the end card showed us two as lovers who went on for some more adventures.

That doesn't mean she didn't tip them off.

She does not like harming innocent people; the tainted ashes with dragon blood would most likely have no effect or a negative effect when used as a tool for healing. But then I am not a chemist who has no knowledge of the properties of the ashes or the blood.

I would not believe if she knew they were tainted that she would ask the Chantry to seek the ashes to help cure people. But then my character was rotten to the core, and he may have changed who she was.

Even without healing properties the Ashes are a valuable artifact.

After all the hell Genitivi went through to get that far I couldn't say no to him...

I normally go the "good guy" route in this part, I tried the other way to see how it would turn out. Since I got this game on PC, I thought I start out with a bang and do decisions I never did before in many areas.

And I found the Reaver Specialization to be Very useful, may use it again with my next character.

I destroyed them. Killed the cultist. Killed the Dragon. Let Genitivi run off. All for the lulz.

Personally I didn't think the ashes would work and that the Bannhammer would end up leading us to victory. Boy was my face red when Eamon got out of bed.

I am probably the only one who thought about the ashes and their reveal in political and economic terms.

Economic terms? As in turning the Temple into a tourist attraction with gift shops and the works?

I see, though you would have to deal with the surviving Haven villagers who would be hostile to your cause.

Not if you accidentally slaughtered the entire village you won't. Posted Image

Of course. I am planing for Haven to be this commercial hub and pilgrimage pit stop. Whether the inhabitants like it or not (if they don't, they are no longer the inhabitants).

Nah, there will be a handful who will survive and will hold a funeral near the dock area. Not like they would be hard to get rid of anyway.

Sarah: What mod fixes Loghain's Dialogue? I am very curios about that.

What inhabitants? You killed them all...save for the children.

I also don't get what peoples main gripe with Alpha Protocol is. Sure the story is cliche, but it's not bad and it's executed in a ok manner. As for the Combat....I started it on Hard with the Recruit class and I think it's good enough, not the best, but it's ok.

I thought villagers survived and we could see them after the ordeal. Meh, if they are all dead, it's much easier.

You guys are so ruthless, though i can understand your attitude, considering that "creepy" I got from that kid that recited "Come Come, Bonny Lin"
