No need for rifle with levelled up pistol. 6 (or 12) chained headshots you can aim in slow motion with single shot being enough to kill anything but a boss... clear the rooms dead.
Oh and these same shots put in any boss kill them dead on the spot, too.

Yuppers. I had to bring an assault rifle for some of the earlier missions. I think I killed something like 7 with that.

The rest are approximately 1/3 takedowns 1/3 left and 1/3 killed (boom, headshot).

Yup, the chain shot move seems to ignore the range though. Or at least the damage is so high it makes no difference. (you can also aim crit shots while still in cover for up to 25m, handy)

Few things funnier than waiting for as many enemies as possible put their heads in the view, then rolling out of cover, hitting chain shot mid-roll, putting your shots in queue as bullets whizz past you in slow-mo, then your chain shot executes, you finish the roll, stand up and dust yourself off while everyone else falls dead on the ground.

Yep tmp, I tried chain shot (basic level still) and I love it. Eh, maybe I'll just play the entire game with the pistol. Assault rifles are not my style.

Sneaked up behind him and put six critical shots in the back of his head

Ok, so I find out that each safehouse has different kinds of equipment we can buy, so all the cash I was saving for a neat pistol in Saudi was for nothing. Ugh.

Costin, what did you do with Shaheed?

Live...I thought something was very wrong the moment he started talking.

He is a true terrorist, but honestly I could care less given the circumstance.

Letting him live and gaining some reputation with him does go according to the plan of becoming TIM.

Same here. I had a feeling this was way bigger than Shaheed and I had a hard time believing that an organisation like this would be able to seal Halbech tech that easily. So I took a risk and trusted him. Sure enough a few seconds later, my suspicions were proven correct and I get useful intel.

EDIT: TIM like decision eh? Naturally Image IPB

One thing Knight...while all your decisions will matter in the long run to becoming TIM, it will not work unless you gain about 5-6 reputation with Leland ( the guy with the fancy grey suit and cuban cigars )

But that is really easy. I could afford to mock him when I liked to.

I would have preferred if you didn't tell me so I can figure it out myself. But I figured he was somethign important from the dossier and the flashforwards. Plus, I am playing a manipulator who likes to max everyone's rep. Leland will like my Mikey for sure.

You know...many games allow you be an ****, but I can't name one which allows you become David Xanatos or TIM. Ruling the world from behind the stage.

We are power hungry ruthless bastards are we not? Bhelen would be proud indeed!

More like Bhelen would be giving us....a fee for our "services and protection", just to stay on his throne.

Quote from Xanatos: "I am the owner of a multi-national corporation, which is bigger than many countries you could name".

Bleh. I don't know why but an espionage RPG doesn't sound very fun to me.

Maybe if it was like Deus Ex . . .

Try it...and you will see.

Honestly you can always get a pirated copy to try the game out then buy it if you like it. 'Tis what I do for many games.

That's what I did. Might buy it on PC if a patch is going to be made. Might. *vanishes into the shadow*

Square Enix and Eidos are responsible for developing the third game.

I am unsure how to take this.

Square Enix is only making the trailers and promoting the game, Eidos are responsible for actually making it..

Never played Deux Ex, never will probably ( I have graphic expectations from games now ) but I thought the trailer was ****ing fantastic.

Some people will probably scream criminal at us for doing that...and that's easy to do when you are not living in a country where the average salary is not 350 EURO per month...

There is also the fact I can't find games here for ****....and I really hate using Steam or buying it off the internet. What the **** is point buying a game off the internet when the only thing you get over using pirated software is a Cd-Key....I want CDs to be able to install the game without downloading at least.
