Then how do you explain 'cut off from Fade' = no emotions? If you only lost your magic there would be many more people willing to become Tranquil, I think, as it would mean freedom and so I can't imagine that they make you emotionless on purpose.Herr Uhl wrote...

And since we're never told WHY dwarves don't go into the Fade - even Surface dwarves - even though it's been confirmed that there is a reason I'm guessing it's going to come up in the future? DA2, maybe? I do find it somewhat odd that non-dwarves seem to have their emotions tied up in the Fade as they lose them when they lose their connections but dwarves are very emotional and have no connection at all.
I don't think that other races have their emotions tied up to the fade. Rage demons don't feed on rage or something like that, they are just a reflection of the other side, where there is rage.

So what I mean is that instead of emotions being tied to the fade, the fade is tied to emotions. At least that is how I see it.

For the PC looks matter (do not know why when I care less how I look in RL): for everyone else it is stats. So one of my mage party members gets the lovely Libertarian's Cowl.
That hat is kickass. My avvie wears it with pride.

I agree. I find even find the ever popular "Warden" helmet with wings to the sides to look odd.
both missa and sereda rocked the shizen out of that hat. Stats are amazing for rogues, as well as LOL WINGS.

I put the backward leather cap on Oghren, it seems to suit him for some reason.soignee wrote...
Ah, mage hats. To be honest, those skullcaps rogues have are silly too.

[cool story bro] I wear and collect hats, berets are a favourite. I got an awesome 50's pillbox hat as well as a Phillip Tracy fascinator that's LOLZ and puts mage hats to shame. [/cool story bro]

Seems vaugely serial killerish but what the hell.
It goes well with "Wade's superior dragonbone plate" armor. My favorite helmet is the one referred as the "Spartan" helmet. Too bad it does not belong in any armor sets.

I always have sold it in the past, so maybe next time I will keep it around though it will have limited uses. Though the next character I will play as may have ear problems.
