I do wonder why that is, though. Maybe he knew you were only barely bringing yourself to side with him and didn't want to push you over the edge? Or if Knight's theory was right and he's waiting for you to snap then he doesn't need to because you're already acting like he expects.

Yes, but he knows that you dislike him. He envied you while you were growing up, now it is your turn.

If you aren't bothered by it that means that his plan wasn't as successful.

So you think that in his mind he wins if you hate him? I didn't think the 'And I thought you were such a strong ruler, Bhelen' line (which I'm pretty sure is what prevented his 'of course, now that you've spent so much time on the Surface you're practically one of them') was particularly empowering for him and actually kind of a valid point. He's all 'oh, Harrowmont's too weak to be King...and I need someone to go deal with Jarvia. I would do it but my guards are all getting bribed like crazy.'

My problem with dwarf characters is the personality wouldn't fit into a relationship with any of the party members if you were role playing it.

plus they must have constant neck pain from trying to talk to the humans.

But i like the drinking and beserker fighting.

Well, it really depends on how you're RPing, doesn't it? Although my DNF stays single for just that reason. Well, that and not looking for a rebound guy.
