I was typing up a response, but basically what Sarah said. Totally depends on how you play your character.

My problem with dwarf characters is the personality wouldn't fit into a relationship with any of the party members if you were role playing it.
plus they must have constant neck pain from trying to talk to the humans.
But i like the drinking and beserker fighting.

depends. Aeducan/Alistair works rather well and is one of my 'ships, and so is Brosca/Zevran.

My first character was a DC and had a romance with Morrigan. It seemed fitting for that character. However, I am sort of apathetic to romances in the game compared to most players.

So Eleka is back in Orzammar and she is feeling a lot of emotions. She missed her home so much but it hurts that she is called an exile and no longer belongs to her house. And she feels much anger towards her brother. She shall get her revenge! >:3

Funny.  Bright, my DC, just finished with Orzamar.  She was thrilled to be able to leave it the first time.  When she came back, not much had changed and she kept spitting after talking to nobles.  Force of habit.  Even when they were trying to be polite, they weren't (spits).  She was very happy to leave again mostly because she had run out of spit.

My DCs never go back to Orzamar after all is said and done.

Cept to go back and put little sis on the throne and override the assembly of course.

My DC hates Orzammar, too, and that depresses me so after thinking about her for longer than two minutes I go back to my DN. Image IPB

She's easier to understand, anyway, due to my lack of any real knowledge of extreme poverty.

My first character was a DC and I actually was thrilled to come back for various reasons. I wanted to see how Rica, my mother and my buddy Leske were doing. Then of course I get backstabbed by my former comrade in arms.

Bright had absolutely no expectations from Leske. She knew the score and didn't blame him for his decision. She was just sad that she had to kill him. Better her than Jarvia. At least Bright gave him a quick, clean death.

Obviously I hate the Brosca origin.

It's not so much poverty Sarah (thought there is that too) but being the physical representation of being everything your society shuns and the prejudice around the social issues.

Talking about this is making me feel guilty I am not writing :(. It's not fun at the moment and my head isn't in the right place for it, but drawing lulzy panels of Dog being herpderp and Missa in a bubblebath I can do.

I wish I could be writing too much it takes too much time and I've got finals coming up next week. :(

And I know, if possible, even less about being hated/shunned so that's not any better for getting into the DC origin. Or the elf ones, come to think of it...

I think he should have considered at least surrendering. Seriously, I just butchered the entire carta base and from first hand experience he saw me gut the former carta boss. What do you think is going to happen Leske, especially since I have 3 other fighters on my side?

I am not expecting him to back me up during the reunion, but I think since you knew him for as a buddy, there should have been a persuade option to allow him to briefly fight for you. But then it is reality check that everyone is out for themselves in Dusttown.

Yeah, I get why he betrays you to Jarvia but after you kill everyone in the room but him? Why the hell does he keep attacking?!?!

I believe I saved him for last, though that play through was awhile ago. Like they say, you cannot fix stupid.

Everyone from that bandit leader on the Imperial Highway to Caladrius manages to surrender once it's clear that if they don't then you're going to gut them (and you may do it anyway) so why can't he?

Bad writing. It makes no sense.

Even LOGHAIN manages to find time to surrender before Alistair's like 'I don't care, this is for Duncan!'

As I said: Bad writing.

There is no reason for him to continue fighting once you have felled the whole carta but him.

There could be other carta bases out there, we only get a see a small area of Dusttown (as with all other areas). I imagine another carta boss will emerge from the remnants. If they found out Leske double crossed Jarvia, he could be on their hit list.

But why would they even care? I can't imagine there is much loyalty between rival factions and she got very successful, very quickly. Not to mention she took over from the already wildly-successful Beraht. Losing Jarvia did the other carta leaders a favor.
