My problem with dwarf characters is the personality wouldn't fit into a relationship with any of the party members if you were role playing it.
plus they must have constant neck pain from trying to talk to the humans.
But i like the drinking and beserker fighting.
depends. Aeducan/Alistair works rather well and is one of my 'ships, and so is Brosca/Zevran.

She's easier to understand, anyway, due to my lack of any real knowledge of extreme poverty.

It's not so much poverty Sarah (thought there is that too) but being the physical representation of being everything your society shuns and the prejudice around the social issues.
Talking about this is making me feel guilty I am not writing

And I know, if possible, even less about being hated/shunned so that's not any better for getting into the DC origin. Or the elf ones, come to think of it...

I am not expecting him to back me up during the reunion, but I think since you knew him for as a buddy, there should have been a persuade option to allow him to briefly fight for you. But then it is reality check that everyone is out for themselves in Dusttown.

Yeah, I get why he betrays you to Jarvia but after you kill everyone in the room but him? Why the hell does he keep attacking?!?!

Everyone from that bandit leader on the Imperial Highway to Caladrius manages to surrender once it's clear that if they don't then you're going to gut them (and you may do it anyway) so why can't he?Herr Uhl wrote...

Bad writing. It makes no sense.

Even LOGHAIN manages to find time to surrender before Alistair's like 'I don't care, this is for Duncan!'
As I said: Bad writing.
There is no reason for him to continue fighting once you have felled the whole carta but him.

But why would they even care? I can't imagine there is much loyalty between rival factions and she got very successful, very quickly. Not to mention she took over from the already wildly-successful Beraht. Losing Jarvia did the other carta leaders a favor.Caak7i wrote...
There could be other carta bases out there, we only get a see a small area of Dusttown (as with all other areas). I imagine another carta boss will emerge from the remnants. If they found out Leske double crossed Jarvia, he could be on their hit list.
