My guidance counselor never talked to me. He thought it was a waste of his time. I think one of these days I'll mail him my masters degree and include a note, "Don't you wish you would have cared?"

I remember there being a guidance councilor in elementary school. I talked with him once and then I felt that it was wasting my time since I could find out about what he was talking about by myself instead.

I went a fairly good school who recognised my crayon eating, writing and general eccentricity and fostered it. I got lucky with university, school and college lecturers/teachers, I really did.

The counselors in my school for the most part gave the advice to most students that their future consisted of going to college, special school for certain jobs like mechanics, or get a job. That did not help me at all.

My teachers all told me to get into a history program.

Mostly to stop me from asking so many questions as to the who, what, when, where, and why every day.

Needless to say I love the Dwarf Commenor, and City Elf origin since you can almost feel the history on top of you in them. Still love knifing Vaughan though. hehehe 40 soverigns... I WANT YER  SKIN SHEM!!!

History was one of my favorite, if not the favorite, subjects in school. I still like to watch the occasional show here and there, especially when it comes from wars and such. Only downside is history is not exactly the most pleasant thing to learn about.

CE is tied at the top with DN as my favorite origin. Vaughan dies in all my playthroughs; he must be wiped off from Thedas. No matter what type of character I play as.

I really wonder what it says about me that I identify more with the entitled characters...

Art by SmokingBones! Hurrah. Red suits Missa, I shall paint her in red for the next comic page.

I cannot identify with any of the origins. With my eccentric/reclusive personality, it would be a good thing that none of the origins have such a character emerge as the Warden. Otherwise Ferelden would become the AD's personal playpen :(

Guidance Counselor: What do you do outside of school?

Freshman HS Corker: ...I don't really have much of a life.

Guidance Counselor: Then you need to get one.

So I did. It was some of the better advice I've had over the years.

Liara DLC just got announced an hour ago for ME2. Halfway through my ME2 game. Not sure whether to stop and wait or just redo it when the DLC comes out.

I don't know, it might give me enough impetus to get me through with another char.

And otherwise I concur with Soignee's statement.

I think I'll go ahead and finish my current game. I had been away long enough that I had yet to try any of the DLCs already out. Really enjoyed going back to ME1 to do a fresh game for my canon (wanted to change her background to earthborn) and to see some scenes I missed the first time around. Imported to ME2 and the controls are so much better, but sometimes I still hit E to open a door instead of the spacebar and get a squadmate positioning right in front of me instead. =p

Can I just say how much I love the Aegis armor? I was dubious about downloading it, could barely find any screenshots of femshep wearing it, and decided to go ahead, it was only two bucks, big freaking deal. I didn't have a problem with the default armor, but the flatness of the Aegis chestplate combined with ample room for breasts really took the focus off any "I've got bewbs" feel and made her that much more of a hardass. The default armor covering her head to toe was great and made her feel like a soldier, but the Aegis angular chest really took it to a new level for me. Plus it's fancy enough that I view it as upgraded Cerebus armor, not me wearing the old N7 armor under a new banner. It keeps the ME1 and ME2 games feeling different.

Always happens to me too. Damn different control schemes! *shakes fists at sky*

Did you like the Aegis armor for yourself or no? Or did you not get it?

I rarely download DLC for ME2 (Kasumi thus far. Will get overlord once I get around to the next shep). I don't have it at this time.

*nods* I can dig up screenshots of Aegis if you didn't already see them elsewhere. I was really on the fence about it since I don't normally buy DLCs to get armor (I vendor King Cailan's armor from RtO and usually vendor the Warden's Keep armor, too), but I'm glad I went ahead and got it. Almost didn't get the alternate appearance pack, but I noticed Garrus looked good and his armor style would be very similar to Shepard's Aegis armor. I'm a sucker for a team look so I got it for him and to cover up Jack a bit more (bothers me she fights so exposed with bullets flying all over). =p

Not to mention that the biker outfit is a good deal more attractive on her than her default wear.

And I'd like to see some screenshots if it isn't too much of a bother for you :)

Oh, if you just wanted some dialogue before he croaks? Yeah, that could have been put in.

At least have something. That subplot just farts out, he was supposed to have been your best friend, he could at least have some last words.

Or having someone in the party actually acknowledging what happened.

This is why I always save the gauntlet until after Leske.  It's so sad when you meet him after you've killed him, and it gives Brosca some closure.

My first playthrough I tried SO hard to keep Leske as the last one alive...just in case.  However, I also kept Andraste's tears because I thought they might save me when I brought all the religious characters with me to fight the Archdaemon while making sure I was the one that took the final blow....

It would be a great surprise and an extra challenge if the game did reward you for doing things like keeping Leske alive until last.

No sweat. I included the default N7 armor so you can see what I mean about the focus not being on the boobs as much. I left Aegis on default colors (gray), fyi.

High school guidance counselors? I suffered severe depression and had a lot of self image issues but she told me to suck it up and made me cry. Then she dissed my art career. Fun times.
