Why did this whole sentence sound absolutely filthy to me?Radahldo wrote...
Hey Tom Cruise can handle a pistol very well, and always does his own stunts. I'm sure if he aspired to, he could easily become a daggermaster.
Have I been on the internet too long?

Lou Reed, 5'4"

Pablo Picasso, 5.5"
Tom Cruise, 5'6" (or so he says...)

Gael Garcia Bernal, 5'5"

Micheael J Fox, 5'4"

Thom Yorke, 5'4":

Hmm. Gael Garcia is nice. I know the inspiration for my new Brosca now...

@Sarah -- Saw your request for the Trian/Bhelen conversations. Will do.
@shipping -- Alistair threads lose me when they start talking about Eamon, Teagan, Isolde, the million ways to queenify oneself, and the various epilogue cards over their technical titles such as princess-consort. Wut?
@soignee -- OH MY GOD DID YOU FORGET ALL ABOUT SETH GREEN??? FIRED!!

I especially get a bit annoyed when the Anora hate goes into gear. You're about to usurp a position she's held behind the scenes for 5 years while her husband plays glorious figurehead...can't expect her to just lay down like a doormat while an unproven (literal) bastard just walk over to the throne! She plays dirty if she knows the PC is going to dethrone her, but at least she won't go down without a fight.
But the games in Human Politics are like child's play compared to the ruthlessness of Dwarven Society, yea? Anyone would know this if they gave the Dwarven origins a chance.

I avoid those threads too becasue of Anora hate. I actually like Anora, I find her a smart and strong woman who won't be brushed aside because the boys say so. I also love when Anora gives the speech at the gates of Denerim, I find it much better than Alistairs.

I honestly don't understand why people hate her. The way I see it Anora's just genuinely concerned about what will happen to Ferelden if Alistair takes the throne, and won't give up a position she's held and managed well for the past five years. But I guess some people just look at that and say "power-hungry". I found it difficult justifying Alistair take the throne without metagaming coming into play. Anora's more than fit to rule.MutantSpleen wrote...

Methinks, more often than not, Mary-Sueness comes into play
"How dare that canine of female persuasion not be awed to submission by the sparkliness of meeeeeeeee~!!"
*gets bricked since her own M!Cousland is a Gary Stu XD*
The last time a dwarf tried to pull that kind of ****, he got stabbed by everyone in the Assembly

There is also the fact that she doesn't throw herself in vuw at Alastair if you arrange a marriage. The hand-rejection is an indication of her being a cold, selfish [female canine].

Wait, what? Is that a paraphrase of a quote somewhere?

If you're engaged to be married to a derp, wouldn't you? XD However, Hardened Alistair will show Miss Condescending differently

It's a summation from observation on how Mary Sues/Gary Stus become the centre of conflict solution/attention/universe who is able to cleanly surmount any obstacle that stands in the path (this case being Anora who won't step aside and relinquish her power). Granted, the way the game is set up and unfolds lends itself easily enough for this to happen in gameplay, being that it is a heroic journey, so I shouldn't make fun of it...too much
