I don't know. They could be useful to throw at darkspawn and traps like Branka was doing. Obviously the plan couldn't be more complex than 'stand here and die' or else they'd find a way to mess it up but since there are only 80 deshyrs I'm sure we could find some use for them.
And I'm kind of curious about something. When you return to Orzammar as a DN and everyone either yells at you for coming back or pretends that they don't know you, for several people you get the option to remind them. Since the option is "I'm Prince/Princess _____ Aeducan" I never picked that option because I figured they would respond "No you're not" and I'd have to listen to more complaints about Trian's death. Does anyone know how they actually respond and if they really have no idea who you are or are just pretending?

I would like to know this answer too, I always picked the "I'm just a Grey Warden" option. One of these days I will completed my BUT I'M PRINCESS! Playthrough, and have an Aeducan with obnoxiously blonde and pink hair, or something.

Aunn hasn't given up her identity by any means but it stands to reason that if people either don't know her or are pretending not to know her there wouldn't be much of a point in bringing up 'by the way, I'm Bhelen's sister' as they're going by the Assembly's condemnation and that would just serve to make them more hostile. You'd think after I was well on my way to giving Bhelen the throne that someone besides Vartag in the palace would stop insulting me, but NOOOOOOOOO. Is it any wonder Aunn can't commit to picking Bhelen? Honestly.soignee wrote...

Can anyone tell me why I can't bring myself to play a female dwarf? (Or any race for that matter.)
Maybe it's the arms. I think it's the arms.

I'm back and I just started on my Dwarf commoner play-through. (threatening merchants, sassing the boss, harassing cleaning ladies and bartenders, and shanking lyrium traders. What fun!)

I was about to say I can only play female dwarves, but that's a blatant lie as my funny little Orslesian is a fussy male dwarf.

Most of them do say that, like the Shaper and the Captain of the Guard. The Helmi person in tapsters (forget his first name atm) and the other dwarf you can share a brew with will both acknowledge you though.Sarah1281 wrote...

When I went through Orzammar with my DN, I didn't care what people think. Exiled or not, still the son/daughter of Endrin no matter what they say. Like Bodahn says: "These things are in the blood, you can't just leave them behind".

When you kill the Dalish, the Lady of the Forest says something like, "These bodies will take a while to turn" so I assumed all the elves you killed become the werewolves of your army. But there is only one Cammen, so would only be one Cammen werewolf I think. He would be the scariest one of all imo, take Swiftrunner's place, his face could kill instantly.Cuddlezarro wrote...

If there was an option to kill Hespith like you would Ruck, what would your Warden do?

I'd leave her, same I did with Ruck. They are going to die eventually but not from me, maybe I'm just a bastard though.soignee wrote...

Definitely kill her. If not, she's going to probably turn into a broodmother anyway or at least go through the process so it really would be the only merciful thing to do.soignee wrote...

Can't say I do, I don't think I said that to her.Sarah1281 wrote...
Do you know what Lady Dace says?
EDIT: Now that I think about it, I wouldn't know at all because I sided with Harrowmont on my only DN playthrough so far.

Thanks.Do you know what Lady Dace says? I really, really hated her for some reason and if her sarcastically asking how the surface is managing without you whenever you side with Bhelen is any indication, she really hates the Aeducans. Not to mention that she accused my DC of being a noble hunter when everyone else knew I was THAT brand.
Urgh, this. *
I was permantly angry when I returned to Orzammar, I swear to god.

So was I on my DC run. And in my DN ones whenever I happened to accidentally talk to a pro-Bhelen supporter who accused me of being an evil traitor. And who would have thought Trian had that many fans? I mean, I liked him well enough but he was kind of...overbearing, shall we say. Then again, I really only say how he treated Aunn and Bhelen (and Gorim when he interrupted but his journal indicated he was impressed by his loyalty) so maybe he was actually nice to other people? He did pretend not to see Rica - even if he did think she stole something - instead of confronting her and treating her horribly like most people would have done or even following her and inadvertantly embarrassing her like Aunn did.soignee wrote...

Lady Dace's remark was something about neither herself nor her sons were interested, which was kind of funny as it kind of defeats the pupose for a noble hunter to have a lesbian encounter. And how old is Lady Dace anyway? She didn't look that old and her father is still alive - if elderly - so how old can her sons possibly be? Could be why they weren't interested. And the father must have been from a lesser House if she's still Lady Dace, although since she was the heir I guess that's to be expected.

Maybe they would've reacted more variedly if it were something other than kinslaying. And perhaps that thing Trian said ("all that we are demands your loyalty") is genuinely felt, to some degree, by all dwarves?. I guess there is just no way to appear the good with that hanging over your head. Whats most likely is that they are inventing sympathy for Trian that, since he's dead, he can't ruin with his personality.
It does make me wonder how private all of the infighting was. I mean, he had no problem debasing you in the street where all the merchants were around. But somehow I doubt anyone outside of Bhelen and the DN would realize just how petty, insecure and easily riled he is, since I could see Trian secluding himself from perceived leasers (basically everyone)
Do you think lectured people very often? That thing with the legless boy is something I can see Trian doing a lot, and that being his limited contact with his perceived lessers..

yep. He was a very strict traditionalist, and would've treated his "lessers" in a patronising manner.

And at least he was nicer to Rica than anyone else you meet in the DC Origin, right? That's something.
