Okay, Zevran hits on you no matter what gender and Leliana often ninja-romances you. Alistair's romance is really easy to initiate and sometimes it bugs that he thinks he's in a relationship with you if you're romancing someone else and he makes you choose. Still, nothing too bad.
If you're trying to stay completely away from Orzammar I think the DC would fit better as they have no reason to like it at all except their friend Leske (who dies) and their sister (who they can visit when they stop by and is in a good place by the time you return). The DN definitely has ties to Orzammar and so while it can be roleplayed that they want nothing to do with it I'd say it's an easier decision as a DC. Yes the DN has been betrayed and if Bhelen is the King (because he is better for the dwarves and they don't want the throne so they know Harrowmont's successor will be like him) then they might not feel able to live there but if Harrowmont's king they could become the successor and are the head of House Aeducan so it's their responsiblity to rebuild it since they killed off everyone important when they rebelled after Harrowmont won. They're also a Paragon which means they can form their own house and are nearly as important as the King and the DN would know this and just how to utilize that fully so turning their back on that to be a GW is a harder decision than the 'Orzammar sucks and everything thinks I should have been killed at birth' situation the DC is in. Still, loving Orzammar could mean wanting to protect it from darkspawn and being a GW is an even bigger honor in Orzammar than it is on the surface.
Dwarves obviously can't be mages so it's warrior or rouge...I usually go rogue because it's really annoying seeing all those locked doors/chests that your stupid warrior party members can't open. When I play DN as a rogue I use the Aeducan shield though it takes awhile to get the 30 or 31 strength needed to wield it.
Both the DC and the DN could be roleplayed as being a good person. The DC is trapped in a life of being a carta thug or (if a girl) a noble hutner like Rica. If they don't do this they'll die. If they suddenly have other options and can help other people in similar situations out like they wished someone had offered them a way out, why not take it?
The DN is a bit trickier but if they hated the politics of Orzammar or else got a brutal wakeup call when they either committed fratricide or was framed for it and betrayed by their living brother then I guess they could be welcoming of a reprieve from all the backstabbing and deceit. If you go the repentant route I'd recommend challenging Lord Dace at the feast to a Proving for insulting House Aeducan by trying to trick you and after seeing how distraught he was when you kill his son it can make you uneasy and start to question whether the boost to your reputation was worth killing the man's only child. The DN is raised in a very brutal political environment, after all, and if they don't play along then they'll get themselves killed because as a prince/princess they can't really stay in the background.
The DC could easily reject the dwarves ancestor worship that rejects them since casteless have no ancestors so why not go find a more welcoming religion? The DN would be harder as I don't see them ever outright rejecting the ancestors given how important they are to dwarven culture but I don't really think the two religions are mutually exclusive.
From the DA wiki...
Unlike many other cultures in Thedas, dwarves do not worship anthropomorphic god(s). Their beliefs are more akin to ancestor worship, and they also hold a sacred reverence for the stone that surrounds them throughout their entire life. Dwarves who lead a strong and noble life are said to strengthen the Stone when they die, becoming Ancestors. Those who are ignoble or disgraced would weaken the stone and are therefore rejected by it for all eternity.
The dwarves aren't really very concerned about where the Stone came from or what created it so for all anyone knows the Maker created the Stone and from there came the dwarves and their beliefs don't have to be called into question. If the dwarves had a step in-between their creation it could certainly explain why they don't go to the Fade naturally like all the other races we've seen. I doubt most dwarves would be interested in making that compromise since, again, they don't really care where the Stone came from but a conflicted DN trying to reconcile the beliefs they've held their whole life with this strange new yet oddly persuasive new religion could come to that conclusion and not have to choose.
Anyway, I hope that helps.
