I really don't mind her character. So please don't take this the wrong way Tali fans. But I really have NO clue why SO many people like her. It just blows my mind. She really is nothing special. You can't see her face so there is no beauty factors, she talks like a space Russian, and she whines alot. But that's just my opinion. It really baffles me.

Do you consider that people have different tastes? I don't see anything in Miranda romantically. Beauty does not factor in for me, I could care less, especially in a video game.

That accent is reason enough, but if you want more, she actually cares about shep by not wanting to be with him, thinking he would be happier with someone else.
And shes kinda cute, not in a beaty way because you cant see her but in a behavior way e.g naming her combat drone.

For the record, even though she's not my very favorite (ahem *Garrus* cough), I like her quite a bit and I was delighted to see her show up again in ME2

Well as long as we're going with opinions. I don't mind Miranda, so don't take this the wrong way, but I really have NO clue why anyone likes her. She is so easy to hate, being cold throughout the game and then of course her questionable choice of love scenes. She really is nothing special. If she looked like Yvonne at more than one angle, she might have a beauty factor. She talks like a space Australian. But that's just my opinion. It really baffles me.

Personally I think Tali is one of the best written characters for the series. I don't hate people who don't like her, but I don't understand where that dislike comes from. But I like most of the characters from the ME universe, except Jack, but thats personal preference, nothing else. Tali just appeals to a certain group of people, most of whom happen to be huge nerds like me. She's smart, exotic, so nice to people, cute and kills stuff. But these are my opinions and I don't hate anyone for not agreeing with me.



I alos don't understand why so many people hate fans of this character, we're just a bunch of guys having a good time, thats all.

The problem with tali fans is basically the old saying "the squeaky wheel gets the grease", the creepy tali fans are much more vocal than the nice kind of fans, so after awhile you lump the creepy ones in with the nices when you hear that they are tali fans, thats how it seems to me anyway

In my expierence there are few real obsessive fans, just people who get into it a lot. I'll admit that I "get into it" a lot too. I probably get into things more than I should but I don't mind if you don't like Tali, I do mind if you don't like people who like Tali. There is no reason to hat them, even the obsessive ones, they just need to be told when they go too far. We are good at self policing over in the thread.

Hey you can be tolerant and all that but everybody knows you gotta get even lol there be obsessive bloggers everywhere, you can't really police them, but for the most part the people I converse with are reasonable and have a moral center, none of them are confusing fantasy with reality (like that kid that shot up the Taxi driver after playing GTA4, he was crazy, but they banned the game in the whole country cuz of one incident). Learning all things Mass Effect is half the reason why I'm here (besides showing support for my favorite gaming company) and ignoring the people that creep me out isn't enough of a problem for me to stop coming here.

@Striker I did not expect that, kudos I don't usually spout opinions like that, my momma taught me to respect other's opinions even if I don't agree with them. Just be careful not to mix opinions with facts in a paragraph, cuz it can be misconstrued sometimes. Anyways peace all nothing but love
