I read your OP. I also read what you said on the Liara thread. I have my own thoughts about that incident but I will not share them publicly.
Respectfully, is nothing about your fight with the Liara thread that can be construed as a "social experiment". So there are good eggs and bad eggs in every fan group. Why not say, "I had a lovely conversation with the Tali fans about ____ and I appreciated the respectful and mature manner in which they answerd my question"?
As is, your OP makes it look like you're sore after the argument you had with the Liara fans and that you want everyone to know what happened. It appears as if you are playing the victim. I will not assume that this is your intent, but it comes off that way. Just something to think about, OP.
I appreciate the feedback and it wasn't my intention to come across that way. I called it a social experiment with the Tali thread because that is what it was. I went there to see what would happen. Does that make me a troll? Probably, but my intentions were good.
What I wanted to convey with the OP was that you shouldn't judge the Tali fans by their reputations. The liara thread stuff was just context.
Then you shouldn't emphasize that you were physically threatened when you clearly told one of them that you would wrap their large intestine around their neck. Both sides of that argument needed to cool down. Please do not consider that argument as 'context'; there is an omission that both parties were hostile toward each other.
Besides, I guarantee that if you returned to the Liara thread and said, "hey, let's start over. Things got a bit heated last time I was here," that they'd be cool with it and welcome you in. The ones you were arguing with would probably own up to their anger as well. It again boils down to the fact that some fans are chill about things and others get very defensive about their characters.
