And that is exactly what I am saying, that you can't judge someone based on their reputations.  I agree that I should have said threats were exchanged but this thread wasn't supposed to be about the Liara thread so I didn't see the need.  You and several others have ignored my main point in favor of focussing on details.  You ignore that I said not to judge either fanbase.  Stop trying to portray me as the bad guy, I have said nothing negative about the Liara thread.  Read the OP again.

This is why I made this thread, to show people their biases.

Some of it can be overkill and it gets made fun of but we know that these 'special cases' aren't representative of the entire Tali fan base.

I think you might be blowing it out of proportion.

People rip on Liara fans as well...we're a bunch of pessimistic jack a**es that don't want any of the other LI fanbases to 'get their due' in ME3.  We want ME3 to be all about Liara...Liara...Liara...and more Liara!  This isn't always the case as some Liara fans are fans of Tali as well.

I didn't say that because she liked Liara, I said that because she threatened me.  I take threats to my safety very, very seriously.

As is, your OP makes it look like you're sore after the argument you had with the Liara fans and that you want everyone to know what happened. It appears as if you are playing the victim. I will not assume that this is your intent, but it comes off that way. Just something to think about, OP.

Think about it a different way. The tali thread is dramaticlly larger and has a wider range of people who visit it, and if any thread should have had over reacting bad eggs, it was it.

This was another thing that surprised me. Statistically it should have been the Tali thread that devolved.  It surprised me in a good way and reaffirmed my belief that not all tali fans are bad like they seem to be seen by the rest of the community.

You keep talking about your "experiment" and "statistics" when you have nothing to back any of this up except two completely different conversations.  I'm not sure exactly what you thought you were trying to prove.  It's fine to call it like it is - that you, in one day had an unpleasant conversation with some people who happened to be Liara fans and you had pleasant conversation with some people who happened to be Tali fans.  There was no "experiment."  Experiments involve a controlled situation with little to no variables to that a proper comparison can be made.

Nobody thinks that all Tali fans are weird.  And if people even did, who cares unless they're trolling the thread?  The bottom line is that there are some freaky ass people on this forum IN GENERAL.  And there are some really great ones.  Both kinds gravitate towards all the different kinds of characters.
