Wait, just wait.  She threatened to belt me had I said what I did to her face.  I used a shock value threat to quickly convey how seriously I take threats to my safety, and then you read it and say I threatened her first.  how exactly does that work?

Done what, threatened to belt me? Then you are no better than her.  You think you can threaten people just because they have more experience dealing with mental disorders than you? Isn't that like, suicidal?  Threatening someone who has mental problems and has told you they result in aggression and violence? Seems kind of stupid to me.

There is an omission here. Again, it's simpler to say, "I talked to the Tali thread and they're reasonable folks". The way the OP and subsequent post come off isn't flattering, and I'm sure that wasn't your intent.

I don't think it negates it.  I said something that literally transpired. you attached connotation to it.  I didn't say that the Liara thread was bad, you attached that implication.  No it wasn't my intent.  If people just read my post and took it literally, things would be so much easier.  I spend time wording my posts to ensure they say exactly what I want them to say, and everyone seems to think I mean something I didn't say.

Except you don't seem to understand the order in which things transpired.  She threatened me, I retaliated. I wouldn't threaten you unless you threatened me.  I have no reason to attack anyone on these forums unless they attack me first, in real life.

I didn't understand whether the Tali fans themselves made this. I didn't really know where it came from. I had sort of been under the impression it wasn't a proper Tali fan's doing, but if they had it posted on their forums...

Going into a fan thread where people really like a character and even being 'polite' and just expressing an opinion gets annoying for people when it starts to dominate the topic and turn people away from what they wish to talk about. Perhaps you should have started a new thread expressing your feelings and waiting to see what happened rather than potentially screwing up the enjoyment of people because you wanted to 'experiment'. Seems pretty selfish to me.
