Please post specs. Including driver versions might be a good idea since you say you do pass.

Sorry.  You are wasting your time and ours when you make silly claims about what a ridiculously inaccurate site does.  Intel does not make any video "Cards".  It makes video CRAP, same as it has always done.  Come back when you have replaced that with something useful (gamewise).

The SR Labs are a laughing stock, they are wrong a huge proportion of the time.  There is one useful aspect.  You can get a printout of your components, which you cannot (or I couldn't, anyway), from the far more accurate "Game-o- Meter" at YouGamers.

simple solution, your PC sucks, get a real computer, like a Alienware Area 51 ALX, you wont have any problems with anything then, well i dont anyway :) have a nice day.

yes but the Area 51 ALX pissses all over the AURORA,but seriously i cant understand why your having problems, it should, Theoreticaly run fine, however it isn't and the only reason i can think of is if you downloaded it of steam- which you said you did i belive- its possiable that there might be some trash files or very well hidden viruses that will subtley **** with your runtimes, so maybe try runing a scrub on the files concerened and see if that does anything, this happened to quite a few friends of mine, one of whiched works for DELL, and he told me just that, thats how he fixed his, Wasn't mass effect he had the problem with but none the less give it a try, you never know and hope for the best.

its a scan of the files concerned and it basically locates any 'trash' files or things that are like random bits of coding or junk data put in there by bots or someone malisious and yeah finds viruses and wipes em out, hope this helps

No offense to the Alienware owners, but if you paid for that Alienware, you got ripped off, hard.

Alienware hasn't been good since they sold their soul to the devil.  It's a wholly owned subsidiary to Dell, so you must now be very careful to specify game- capable components or you get "CRAP" if you make a purchase based on the past reputation (ended as an independent about three years ago), sorry, but if it's Intel video, that's the appropriate term.

I just buy my components from somewhere like Newegg and have Tiger direct put the whole machine together for like 120$, it would be even cheaper if I wasn't so lazy and just put it together myself. At the end I always save like 300$ or more as opposed to buying from Dell or another company like that and I have more say in what goes into my computer. :)

Right now, the only pre-built that I consider to be a reasonably priced mix of performance is Digital Storm, and not all of their models are as good of a value.  I formerly liked ABS, but they escalated their prices through the ceiling.

Beginning from about 1987, I've built all but three of my PCs myself, and the exceptions were built to order for me by a local White Box builder.

P. S.  Everyone wants to be aware that since Intel has not produced any video "Card" in over a dozen years, it would not be even vaguely possible for anyone to swap out a good video card that is the real thing, and "replace" it with any "CARD" from Intel.

Maybe some kind of problem related with compatibility ?... I still can't run some XP game on Vista, so why not for 7...

But I will refer you to this topic. Basic line, its all about Windows 7 and Mass Effect. I see some of them used a Steam version + Windows 7.

I'm still puzzled by this part.

Since you reported Intel graphics, I'm confused as to where the ATI cards come in. Are you saying you actually removed your Radeon cards to see if that would make ME work? Just what graphics chip/card and driver are you actually using to try to run ME?

And as Gorath says, there is every reason to call Intel video chips crap. They're a great cheap way of running most apps, but are, pretty much literally, incapable of gaming.
