Yeahs, i'm sure a price-cut is on the horizon, especially for say the 5850 and 5870's, The 5970 is more powerful than the gtx480 by a fair amount, but the 5970 isn't a single gpu, and i don't usually go for the two cards pasted together thing. Although I hear evga plans to release a dual gpu version of the gtx480 which would blow anything out of the water. Maybe i'll snag a 5970 and tri-fire it with another 5870 hahaha.
