Hey guys I am new here, been playing this game for some time now so I decided to spice things up a little bit by messing with the DA Toolset ( baaaaad idea) . Anyway I wanted to make a new color for Wade Superior Dragonbone set, first I did it with chest armour.  I followed this links suggestions completely I did all things correct *I think*  =P but when I go ingame the color of Wades Superior dragonbone chest piece is the same...... =( just dunno what to do.... the link is http://social.biowar..._existing_items
Also I was wondering when you create new items how can you add them to your inventory, I googled something about scripts it seems sooo complicated !!!!!!  I created a cool sword but cant add it to my heroS inventory, what good is of that sword when it is just lying around somewhere ehhh !!! =D

I think Wades armor has great stats but awful color just like Corruption......

I have not tried it as it is not exactly what I was looking for, but you might like it.

You're more likely to get a reply if you state more precisely what isn't working for you. I wouldn't necessarily assume that many people are familiar with that tutorial.

It's also worth reading the wiki tutorials, as most of the basics are covered there.

if its a recolor, try making a chest piece item that has wade's as a base, select your recolor, (if the recolor is in your override) and script it to your character, dragonagenexus has some REALLY good tuts, the script line is something like AddItemToInventory(oObject, oHero);



you can use the build wiki to search for info on each command, thats how i learned the toolset, (even though i quit before getting my second mod to work, insufficient stamina on custom summons is NOT fun)
