What does it mean by Garrus pushed either way?

Seems to indicate what way you've interacted with him. If you did more paragon interactions with him, you got more points in the first value. If you did more renegade interactions with him, you got more points in the second value. Sometime I ought to ask Gibbed how he came by these values. Whether these are based on his projections and interpretations, or if there is actual text in the coding indicating each of these things.

And as somebody pointed out, this is information from the first game. Whether they're keeping that info as planned for the third or not is unclear. It's possible they changed the direction of the story?

A very useful, interesting list.

Edit: Fail, just saw your second post.

I have heard, but can't confirm that there is some different dialog in ME2 for Garrus depending on the import info.

He does react to somethings differently.  The plot points are all the same but his expectations of you and reactions to your paragon or renegade decisions on his recruitment and loyalty missions are different.

Not sure about this one.  I'll have to look out for mention of it next time I get around to doing a playthrough.

(Feros) Outcome_Give_Fail

(Feros) Outcome_Give_Good

(Feros) Outcome_Give_Good_Plus

What is this referring to, the side missions on Feros? Or the final outcome? Or both...

I'm not certain but maybe it has to do with whether or not you gave the information to the private contractor on Feros--the guy who was asking if you could help retrieve his files from within the building. The Krogan was trying to get the files when you walked in.

I could be wrong though.

Just a guess, but I would assume it's when you can either Charm/Intimidate the guy from the company (names are slipping my mind) or just shoot him instead.  The fail would be if you killed the colonists, the good would be if you saved them but killed the company man, and the good plus would be if you saved them, and convinced the company guy to keep funding the colony.

In my current playtrough I realized that both "(Citadel: The Fan) Charmed him" and "(Citadel:
The Fan) Intimidated him" were ON, even tho I charmed him. It's a known bug, but now I fixed the flags, I wonder what will happen to Conrad when I get to Illium now :P

I think you have to reimport the save if you change the flags in Gibbed's. I could be wrong though. I noticed I could skip ahead in conversation progress by changing some "true/false" variables, and that was mid-game.

Why didn't the Serviceman Nirali Bhatia quest get carried over? I thought choosing to study the geth weaponry was going to have an effect in ME2.

If you give the corpse to Bhatia, I read there is a news report that Alliance's volunteer rates have decreased, in ME2. I could be wrong though. I get the impression from Bioware that they are going to tie everything up in ME3. We'll see how true that is.

My memory is fuzzy, but why is encoraging Garrus to apply for the spectres a renegade thing?

The Spectres don't have rules and regulations to follow.

So even if Shepard is Paragon, he/she is auto-Renegade?

Umm, why does this list include appointing Udina or Anderson? I thought it was pretty clear that that data wasn't stored (hence they ask you which one you did).

This seems to be just a list of how you did (or did not) do each quest, not necessarily what is actually used or even stored. It was probably easier just to make an importer that checked through the journal progress and then build off that, whether or not it was ever used, then to only include things that were intended to be used.

Cause you're pushing him to "do things his own way" and not follow the rules of C-Sec. Basically you're pushing him to be above the law at best, or a vigilante at worst.

A lot of the changes are literally one dialog or email hook:

GARRUS!

vs:

Garrus? Garrus Vakarian?

or

Consort_email_good

vs.

No email

Bhatia is directly connected to which GN human military morale story you get.

Sadly, hardly any of the Prothean stuff got carried over (you know the "Shepherd is the only known human that got exposed to the beacons w/o mind turning to mush or dying".) In fact, Shep can understand the Prothean language and learned a lot from Vigil (what did happen with the Prothean survivors after they shut down the Citadel relay anyway? - I mean they survived the Reapers and spent years analyzing Reaper info, so their knowledge has to be somewhere!!).There were 6 encounters with Prothean beacons, artifacts and ciphers in ME, that didn't get mentioned or addressed in ME2. In my mind, I suspect that's another BIG reason TIM brought Shep back, because of the ability to comprehend Prothean clues. Hopefully, bigger role in ME3.......

If the rumored Liara DLC is true, then it's explained in that DLC. In the sound clips from the DLC, I heard her mention how the Collectors wanted Shepard because of his exposure to the beacons and the Cipher.

I think most of what they have of the protheans HAS been translated, and so being fluent doesn't matter because there is nothing new to be fluent with.

As for the protheans on the Citadel, I'd imagine that over the millenia from their deaths to the citadel being found, the keepers cleaned up their bodies and probably accidently erased any of their data. Remeber, thos green bugs will just randomly re-arrange people's offices for no appearnte reason several times in our short lifespans, and I imagine that things could get lost when they do it over the course of 48k years.
