Other than more of everything, what specific things would you like to see?

More monsters:
  • Personally, I want to encounter a sleeping Tarrasque, which never wakes up but freaks your party out with its mere presence. Yes, Dragon Ages needs a Tarrasque. All RPGs need one.
  • Also D&D style Rust Monster. Because there's no better way to make low level weapons useful than introduce and armor/magical item devouring monster.
  • Multi-headed monsters capable of attacking with each head on a single turn (ouch). And more than two heads here! Think Hydra.
  • Griffons. *cough*
  • More Dragons. Because you can never have too many.
  • Bag of Devouring. Because it's cruel and keeps you on your toes. Not all "magical items" are good. Infact, not all ARE items.
  • Man eating plants.

In game voice set commands! (any chance this gets implemented? - I choose a voice set at creation with lots of lines in the test play and never get to hear more than 2-3 lines in game)

I sooo much would like to hear my char voice... giving orders to other party members (and they listening too, instead of select all to a FF, just a voice command like "By my direction, attack!"

Like NWN 1&2 (or for RP in mplayer!!!) and then some...

"No Quarter!" ... "To the Fight!" ... "Time to die!"

"I need to get moving... this is a waste of time!"

"Move aside, will you?"

" By the hells!"

a multiyplayer expansion where you can play up to four of your friends. I know it will never happen but I can dream.

Better female models...the ones they've got are way too stocky and lack the lithe nature of the feminine form...except in Morrigan's case, but as shes a primary character I'm assuming her model got some special attention...would be interested to see modders swap the PC female model body to the Morrigan model body.

Better elves, I understand the lore of the elves in this world but I really think they come off as too visually subhuman for a race that was once immortal. But tthen again I'm probably just spoiled on the LOTR movie vision of elves, which I find far more acceptable and that does somewhat go against the lore we have here.

I'd like to see a lot more armor and equipment, and a solidification of craft based skills that are actually useful, currently only Herbalism and Poisons have much use outside of Combat Training and Coercion..which aren't, really...skills as much as they are needed for game mechanics.

I'd like to see the world open up and be more explorable, map travel and random encounters is sort of a throw back to an earlier age of game play where computers and programming itself were not capable of rendering open environments. And DA:O's linear and limited nature in this area was something of a dissapointment.

Gore that makes sense.....I'm sorry but I laughed my ass off when my character was covered in blood splatters from simply killing rats in a larder. I mean...really. It needs to be more adaptive and not just a single shader layer that looks the same no matter what you've fought or how wounded you are. I'd like to see persistent gore that actually reflects the damage the PC has taken to some degree as well...and as stated the single shader layer of blood splatters just seems to be a tacit and very one dimensional attempt at reinforcing the "dark fantasy" atmosphere...when its really rather laughable in some situations.

More fatalities would be good too, theres a few good fatalities in the game as it is now but they're few and far in between and only apply to specific enemies and the conditions to make them occur are not clear....also I think a fatality executed by an NPC thats not directly controlled by the player should not cause sudden bullet time for the rest of the environment as well as it can be tactically disturbing.

Oh...and I'd like to see stories that don't force you to start over again once you're done. Its so damn trite to "end" a character you've been developing for 60 or so hours of game play just because you "won" the final battle...but then again that would take a more open world to explore, a higher level cap and broader talents system..so it probably won't happen.

I think it would be kind of neat if you could experience some of the story lines that you discover while you travel. Such as some of the hsitorical pieces or as another poster said some of the adventures that happened such as "The Black Fox".

I was a bit surprised how well written some of those stories were. It would be kind of neat to experience those moments in time for yourself. Although not sure how that could be worked into the story wbut I'm sure the devs could come up with something :)

1-2 new origin story's. More places to explore. Multi-leveled dungeon with big boss/loot at every end of the level. Cool equipement sets with bonuses. More specializations. More characters creation customizations. Increase of the level cap.

The list goes on with what they could add. I just hope they add meaningful stuff...

I'd also like to see more prestige classes specializations. I was dissapointed at how few there were, espcially for mages. They could easily come up with at least four more. Also, a variant of Shadowdancer would be a great rouge addition.

I second the new origins angle, and maybe new skills like armour/weapon crafting.

I just want an expansion ASAP! More blood, guts, and salty wenches.

That said, maybe implementing the Paladin class.

Multiplayer is also something I would like to see.

But still, Expansion in a week please!

So. You want to see female characters who look like vanity models? Who also use their limbs to fight?

Women grow muscles if they do hard labor such as swinging a sword. Or a staff. Or anything heavy.

I'm all for the more muscular female models. There are enough teenagers in JRPGs. :)

This is...really, the most likely thing we're going to see. Since this is the dev team trying to bring SWTOR into being, I have a dreadful feeling this IP is not going to get extended attention...which will be especially sad. We might get a DA2, KOTOR got a sequel, NWN got a sequel but the games of NWN/NWN2 weren't as deeply interdependent on each other as the KOTOR IP was. Theres been talk of ME2 but no ME2 to be seen.

I don't know BioWare just seems to **** them and leave in most cases, and with SWTOR on the horizon I'm questioning BioWare's ability to stay on target with a contnued focus on the DA IP after that...even with EA and Mythic involved.

Nothing wrong with liking a well made female model. I wouldn't even mind a muscular female model if it was done well, what I'm saying is the current PC female model and the model being used in 90% of cases in game is far too generic...all women have the SAME body. The shoulders are too broad, the backside is too big, the hands are too large, the stances are all wrong.

Not all the women have to look like runway models, just saying the model we got is painfully generic in all cases other than Morrigan from what I can tell.

There's always the possibility that EA acknowledges the value of DA IP, and does not screw it up. Then again, I can never forgive them for what they did to my Ultima series.

I'm keeping my thumbs up for DA - Hoping for the best but expecting the worst. ^_^

I don't think we'll get a real expansion out of this. The way the game is set up...I just don't see it happening. But if by expansion you ment DLC...well then:

1. New Weapons, Armor, and models for both. Especially in the area of staffs and mage stuff. Warriors have a lot of armor to pick from, and they generally look great. There are also quite a few melee weapons that I ran into. But there wasn't much in the way of robes or staffs. More models just makes our characters cooler to look at, and who doesn't like that?

2. More random encounters on the roads. Its something small, but I felt like it added to the game. Not so much the "Here are 20 guys, have fun." but sometimes they were good and sometimes they were bad. Its like opening a present. More please!

3. New Romance options, maybe even NPCs since I doubt we'll see new characters. Elves need someone, and the choice between Morrigan and Lelianna...eh.

4. More involved origins. Now I've finished the game once, and that was with a Human Noble. I'm playing through as a City Elf now, but I didn't feel like the Human Noble got to really do anything with his origin. "Origin" quests would be excellent.

5. Touch up to the Dwarven quests. Deep roads is...painful, and all my friends have agreed with me so far (I could be wrong). And the choice for king doesn't give us enough information. The npcs who talk about the potential choices for king should be a whole lot clearer in what they support, what their flaws are, etc.

6. Maybe some new facial options. New facial hair, scars, more tattoos.

7. "Epic" side quests. Stuff that is deep and involving, with similar possible rewards or consequences.

Are we talking real expansions or these mini-expansions like Warden's Keep?

If we're talking real expansions, I don't want new origin stories or new romances or whatever. I want an entirely new campaign in an entirely different setting with entirely new characters and an entirely new, original concept. I also want new items, weapons, armors, skills, spells, etc. That's a real expansion.

If we're talking mini-expansion nonsense, then there's really not much to say. Anything they add is going to require me playing through the entire game again. Let's be honest, here. Once I've played all six origin stories, I highly doubt that I'll want to play through the entire game for a 7th time, DLC be damned.

Why did we select a voice for our toon anyway?

For the record, it's Boo.

And the ability to BREAK chests open (instead of thinking "Wow, im gonna come back here when I get my hands on that rogue!") would really be a winner I think. The possibility might be in the game, I just haven't found it then.
