I'd like to get a party member who's a werewolf. Maybe also one that's a Darkspawn that managed to not go crazy. And some more skills for Dog so that he doesn't suck by the end of the game.
Increased level cap, and to go with it an ultimate dungeon: The Black City.

Really, I feel like the world is already huge enough and I'd like to see more options for character choice/variety.
Mages have the most available skills and different builds, and hence the most game replayability of any class. But from a story perspective, you're shackled to one origin which makes them a little less replayable IMO.
More skills/options for Warriors/Rogues. More specializations for everyone. IMO I would like at least one "offensive caster" Mage specialization; Arcane Warrior and Shapeshifter are SO COOL conceptually, but from a gameplay standpoint I have a hard time 'wasting' my caster on a melee spot when there are so many other melee characters available.
And yes, more skills/options for Dog.

I realy would like to see new armor styles specialy for leather and mage gear. I would like to see armor you can add runes too. More ingredients dropping to make potions/posions/traps with. It just seem slike i never come across enough of those materials to make crafting them useful or want to buy 2-3 gold recipes just to craft 2 or 3 of that item. class /w race specific specializations. maybe a quest you have to do to get at the new talents. and its 4 seprate quests for each talent. you get them at certain levels of playing. if your a mage you have to go to the tower to start the quest ect ect. I just want to see realy good quality additions of dlc. So many options on what can be done I can't wait to see what bioware does for DA:O

Oh, and as a side-note: I know that it's too late now and no addon in the world will ever change that but why the heck is my character silent? You guys have done it in Mass Effect and it really gave Shepard a face. Now I want my hero to have a face, too! Damn, that's one of the most important things for me!

That's because in Middle-earth Elves are "better as you", in a very real way. Which they aren't in this universe(not any more at any rate).Better elves, I understand the lore of the elves in this world but I really think they come off as too visually subhuman for a race that was once immortal. But tthen again I'm probably just spoiled on the LOTR movie vision of elves, which I find far more acceptable and that does somewhat go against the lore we have here.

Quest wise I would like some sort of battle against some templars as a mage, maybe a battle against some templar fanatics that thought your mage pc shouldn't be outside the tower or something like that. I want revenge against the chantry for tearing me out of my family and forcing me into that damn tower for years, REVENGE!

- Warden's keep was a one hour dungeon crawl with a storyline hook. It seems shorter because you do it in one go. Maybe break it up a bit. Have some sidequests or events that trigger later to make it seem longer.
- I would like a village like Redcliffe with a main quest and some sidequests. There is stuff happening in the village, it feels alive. There are characters like Ser Perth, Teagan and Murdock that I remembered and cared about.
- Add more interaction with Cauthrien and Loghain in the early/mid game. Maybe open up an area of Denerim where Cauthrien is located. She could give a different perspective on Loghain.
- Maybe have Highever as a location. Howe's henchman could be in charge. It could be a mix of a village, forests, farms and castle.
- Maybe some more mid game content dealing with the civil war interacting with some of the Banns. Who could talk about rebelling against the Orlesians and issues to do with being a Bann.

- 1 optional hard dungeon involving difficult trash pulls and 3-5 bosses that require real strategy, group composition and thought to beat.
- New characters (non playable), codex entries and some general re-working/patching (i.e bears damage counting towards rangers damage in the party damage % etc etc).
That would be enough for one full price expansion.

As for areas, I'd like to venture outside of Fereldan, maybe to Orleis or Antiva?

I? I want to see... Suffering.
This is...really, the most likely thing we're going to see. Since this is the dev team trying to bring SWTOR into being, I have a dreadful feeling this IP is not going to get extended attention...which will be especially sad. We might get a DA2, KOTOR got a sequel, NWN got a sequel but the games of NWN/NWN2 weren't as deeply interdependent on each other as the KOTOR IP was. Theres been talk of ME2 but no ME2 to be seen.
I don't know BioWare just seems to **** them and leave in most cases, and with SWTOR on the horizon I'm questioning BioWare's ability to stay on target with a contnued focus on the DA IP after that...even with EA and Mythic involved.
You do know that ME 2 is beeing released 1/26/2010 right? And that they said that ME was a trilogy from the beginning? Do you also know that they've said that they've created this big world in DA so that they can release a lot of expansions and DLC, they plan on letting you into the other countries eventually for example. Believe me, they're not finished with this.
