No other explanation is needed.

I admit that leading a werewolf army to massacre the dalish was a bit too exciting.

Do I even want to know what you mean by "exciting"?

*attempts to drag her mind out of the gutter*

Psychologically and yes even physically exciting. Unfortunately we didn't get to see Cammen's face being bitten off, otherwise it would have been ecstasy. Posted Image

I admit I can be sadistic. I know I take unholy pleasure killing some of the villians in the game. And torturing Anora by taking everything from her always gives me warm fuzzies.

Why would your Dalish side with the werewolves?

Because they were as much guilty as Zathrian was for the curse. They all knew about it and simply choose to ignore it. I consider siding with Zathrian the evil outcome, curing the curse the neutral one and killing the elves the good outcome. The only reason my main character cured the was to help the Werewolves, I could care less for the elves.

I guess we are. Though in my defense I will say that I only kill people in video games when: I don't have a choice and they deserve it for something they did with glee ( Zathrian, Vido etc. ) Otherwise well, I try and be nice to everyone.

Who else knew about it? From what I gatehred in the game, there were some very slight rumors and suspicions, but no one actually knew the true.

The story teller tells you a white washed version of it (Probably what Zathrien had told them) but I don't think anyone really knew the origins of the curse, just that it was transmitted originally by Witherfang and later by those Witherfang infected.

I always get Zathrien to end it, (In my mind thats the good ending). I won't ever get the kill the werewolves or kill the dalish achievements because to me both of those outcomes are evil. I am sadistic but not THAT sadistic :P

I personally wouldn't say that those 2 outcomes are evil, but the ending of the curse is definately the best outcome imo.

It would have been better if we conscript the freed humans into the army though.

Damn I wish that had been an option because you DO ask them where they will go/what they will do now that they aren't werewolves anymore.

Yeah, I always saw ending the curse as the best outcome b/c the werewolves don't want to be werewolves. Somehow, ending their chance at being human again is just wrong.

You can ask Lanaya if she knew about the curse and she suspected, but that's it and she's his apprentice. The others may have had some idea that they could transform into a werewolf (like Danayla's huband) but making the leap from that to this is all Zathrian's fault and he can cure it? The Lady even says that his people just believed he'd rediscovered immortality.

I dont think siding with Zathrian is an evil ending. When I try to look at it, I wonder if I would bring up a curse like that on people who raped my daughter and killed my son.

The difference is that it isn't the people that did it that get cursed, it is all people.

Those people are dead, though, and it's been centuries later. The descendents of the people initially cursed don't deserve it.

Not me. They are just fresh out of centuries of living as beasts. They still need to get over the shock of not having to lick oneself clean or roll in the dust to remove fleas, and are still coping with after-urges to lift their legs while passing trees and the compulsion to hump your leg.

Poor Leliana agrees with Skadi most emphatically.

Yeah they do. They look like vampires now when they turn to humans. Odd eye colors anyone?

Nah, then you need hunger demons, not rage demons.

I did it with my HNM and it DID feel right (even though I went with a ritual ending as well to see what things were different for men and women in those situations). It still remains one of my favorite endings for all the emotions it stirs. For the record I am a female and cried a LOT during DA:O as there are a LOT of good scenes and the writing is I agree, most excellent.

Seriously, I cry like a baby at several points in this game.

The phylactary in the ruins where you unlock Arcane Warrior.. aww... I just can't help it. It's soooo touching.
