Rivercurse, no need for the smart remarks. We all have the ability to scroll down pages.......but it would be nice to have an easier time spotting new threads or ones that have nothing to do with "_____ Appreciation Thread". Whether a thread merits a lot of responses or not matters little when you witness how quickly they are buried under such fandom.
Ok look, I'll try to explain it again.
Threads at the top of the forum mean that they are the most recently posted in. By virtue, this means that these are the topics that the majority want to talk about. I dont understand your issue at all.
There are threads in this forum right now that I bet you haven't clicked on. Whats the difference?

Tali's pretty awesome eh?

But by the same token, if they were, people from that forum would still whine about the cluttering up of their board instead.
I think you guys just need to accept that ppl want to talk about tali, or Garrus, or Parasini. If other good topics are posted, they will remain on the front page.

Mass Effect Character Romance and Support Discussion (Spoilers Warning)
In the meantime, I'm just going to Adblock the links to the support threads (along with blocking the link spamming from that Bazaar contest thing):

The OP should get over it. The romances are subplots, a part of the ME2 storyline. He doesn't like it, then ignore the threads. Simple! THere really aren't that many, anyway. Sheesh.
This I agree with Shavon you took the words right out of my mouth.

They take up almost 2/3rds of the first page, and another 1/3rd of the second.Shavon wrote...

A character can be a springboard for other subject matter as well. It's not just fans pining over their favorite personality.

Either way, the original poster's request is quite reasonable. Don't act so touchy and insecure every time someone even mentions Kaidan or his support thread, River.
In any case...

I beg your pardon? What's Kaidan got to do with anything?

It's fairly clear that having a separate forum with a stickied support thread would keep the Official Campaign forum organized and free of clutter. It would also make it easier to find a support thread since they wouldn't be competing with each other for the top 10 spots of the forum.Rivercurse wrote...

Can you provide a rational argument as to why it shouldn't be that way?

The threads need their own forum.
On the one hand, developers treat romances like minor side-quests. On the other hand, fans on these boards treat romances as central to the game. This leads us to the current overcrowding.

A rational argument as to why topics YOU are not interested in should be moved to their own forum out of your way?
