If you are using XP, make sure that the Bioware updater service is enabled if you want your stats to show as quickly as possible. If that service is disabled I think stats might not update as quickly as they should.

I am using Windows 7. The problem was that I was launching the program from the executable instead of the launcher. This solved everything apart from updating my first character, which shows as level 11, instead of level 22. Anyway, eventually I suppose it will be fixed.

Well, thanks for the advice...

I find a central, sticky thread for all the update problems would be nice. Searching for the like only frustrates me.
Anyways, I try my luck here now and hope someone can help:

I've made a new character (in-game) and he's almost Lvl 20 at the time I'm writing this and naturally, almost a week has passed without any update. *sigh* Reading through all suggestions didn't help for him to show up on my profile. Funny thing is: I can't even upload screenshots. It says my chosen filename contains profanity. So either my Dalish Elf called Saerlin has been unintentionally named after a swear word in an obscure dialect or something is so very wrong here.

edit: Riiiight... Finally my .xml files show up on the server (although the character does not, yet). I'm pretty positive that the character will show up eventually now. For anyone else who suffers from this problem and wants a solution I suggest viewing social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/20/index/1336799 and following the steps to rename the character. Mine is now called Særlin instead and apparently, that's not considered profanity anymore since I could upload a screenshot.^_^
