Who actually plans on buying Kasumi's stolen memory

Also, regarding boycotting games/DLC, I can safely say that I have done this, and stuck to my guns. I told myself I wouldn't buy Fable 2, and I didn't. Though I did rent it once, but I felt justified under the notion that Lionhead already made their profit from the video store so my money didn't go directly to them.
I've also boycotted MMOs, but not because I don't like them. I just don't need another addiction in my life. <leaves to smoke>

Yep, I'll get this one. Normally when DLC hits, I've already moved on to another game but I've been too enthralled by the ME universe to stop. In fact, I just wrapped up a ME1 playthrough so I could have things begin just right.

Admirable. I think it's great when someone can do so. ...But too few actually stick to their guns like you.

The Kasumi pack will have more credits, more upgrades, and a new weapon.... which means jack and squat for a level 30 Shephard who has killed everything. A player who only goes through the DLC with that end-game, max level character will not have the same opinion as a player who makes a new Shephard and goes through the DLC at a lower level when the gear/upgrades are still useful.
Same deal with Fable 2. Once you had all the gold in the kingdom, so to speak, and had done everything else... a quick tour of Knothole Glade where you obliterate everything and buy everything new in an hour will of course produce limited enjoyment.
I'm not preaching, and not espousing any playstyle. I just think it's fair to say that the value discussions for the money/time ratio have to include how Bioware intends most people to use the DLC.

DLC tho add the chance to add to the product what was left off for the development, just by preparing the product to use and interact with the post released new content! (becouse, even if you don't want to admit it, the Hammerhead and Kasumi, aswell as Zaeed and the Normandy Crash Site, were developed AFTER the game went gold!)
So yes, I will gladly pay to buy Kasumi which, including the Cerberus Network DLCs, shows BioWare's commitment to let us further enjoy and further amplify this truly masterpiece that is Mass Effect 2.

I will buy it, I don't understand all the flamers about it, claiming that it's content ripped off the main game, as a developer myself I know what it means to get with a lot of ideas in concept stage and not being able to get them all in the final product...

Personally, this is exactly why I dislike DLC: if they were intending to put it in originally, that means they originally felt it should be included with the £40 price-tag they put on the retail game (i.e., it was meant to be part of the "Standard Package", which retails for £40 here in the UK, at least around release day). Now they want to charge about £3/4 more for it-- suddenly it's value has increased.
Yes, I agree 3/4 is not much-- it's only about 10% of the game's value--, but for me it's the idea of suddenly charging for something that you were going to originally give for the standard sale price.
Now, I admit I don't know the whole details-- I've been away from the community a while-- but I recall hearing talk of how most of her files were already on the disk. As I say, no idea if this is true or not (I have the 360 version, so can't check for myself), but if so, that definitely influences my above-state opinion on DLC.

But on top of all, I simply enjoy the entire ME universe too much to not to buy it

New character, new loyalty mission, new room in Normandy ... I can't miss that.

Kasumi files on game disc.

Kasumi after DLC download.

You are not spending $7 for just this.
