None. I never saw any "promotional" material save for one or two clips on youtube. The forums had alot of information, but no context to put it in since I was unfamiliar with the ME universe.
So how much of the game was spoiled for you?

It wasn't ruined for me at all. Spoilers never ruin anything for me. Before ME2's street date, I was watching live video streams of people playing the game, even that didn't ruin the game for me.

None of it, I didn't read the forums untill I had completed the game.

1. Every character you can recruit except for Legion. Not a good move on Bioware's part especially when it ruined some potentially good surprises like Grunt and took some juice out of the plot.
2. Normandy's destruction by trailers.
3. Shepard dying and getting resurrected by weak-ass Play magazine putting it big letters on the page. I was just flipping through the mag, not trying to read the article on ME2.
4. Renegade scars on the cover OXM which gave a hint on how severe Shepard's injuries were.
5. Thane killing Nassana Dantius by some leaked web vid.
I'll try harder to avoid spoilers for ME3.

I only had the Lazarus Project spoiled for me while I was surfing the Mass Effect wiki.

Intro death (I didn't believe it at first, but I had to cave and read that 'Mass Effect 2: The first 40 minutes' article), Garrus and his romance, human Reaper (no internet jerks involved in that one; my friend got the Collector's Edition so I was leafing through the artbook since I couldn't play the game til I got home--"And here's the final boss, the human/Reaper hybrid the Collectors abducted humans to build!
").
That was the only one that actually pissed me off. I don't usually consider the basic first hour or so of the game to be severe spoilers, so the other stuff didn't bother me. In hindsight, reading the artbook might not have been the best idea, but I've always read the extra materials (manual, maps, DLC cards, etc) that come with a game before starting it.

I didn't really get spoiled online, however, like a complete idiot, I decided to browse through my art book before I got a chance to play the game (my 360 had RRoD'd finally, and I couldn't play for about a month.) Yeah...that whole Garrus getting blasted in the face was ruined, however, it lacked context which was nice. Also, by flipping a few pages too far, I spoiled the whole Human-Reaper thing. I was bummed about that...about finding out, that is.

Nothing was spoiled for me. I didn't follow any of the marketing. I did it on purpose because I fell in love with ME1 not knowing what the game would be like (grabbed it on a whim from the bargain rack), and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. I wanted the same effect with ME2, and I'll ignore pre-release marketing for ME3 as well so I won't have any clue whats gonna happen.

I made a point of totalyl avoiding these forums until I'd completed it at least once. A mate of mine spoilered that Garrusa was in it, though. So while the Archangel reveal was still awesome, taking to the merc who told me he was a Turien did make me suspicious.
When ME3 promo stuff starts doing the rounds, I'll probablly disappear from these interents for a few months. I intend to go into ME3 totally unspoiled!
(in, like, 2 years time)

shepard's death, normandy's destruction, legion, and all recruitable squadmates.
stupid ad campaigns spoiled most of it. but having it spoiled did not, by any means, ruin the game for me.

I deliberately didn't come on here a week before and when the game came out. I only ventured on to offer my thoughts once the game had been completed.
I will say that my time on the ME1 forums and the amount of fanboy love for Tali did make it obvious to me that she would be romanceable. That isn't BW's fault but it meant the relationship, which looked like it had no legs in ME1, was always going to be a feature in 2 to appease them.
If anything it made me shy away from romancing her.
