Most hated area to go into on Origins?
Me personally it was the Fade in the circle tower, it was so dull, so boring.  It seemed more of a grind than anything else.

On a side note, does anyone know how to register Awakening if you bought it off the Playstation network?

Definitely Orzammar. I actually liked the area itself, but the quest is just soooo long! It gets tiring.

As to your second question: no idea.

It's a toss-up between The Fade and the Deep Roads for me. I'm gonna have to go with the Deep Roads though, if I have to pick. I hated all of Orzammar though, I'm not a fan of underground places. I need to see the sky, dammit. But yeah. Deep Roads. Takes FOREVER and I feel more trapped in there than any other dungeon somehow.

The Urn. I'm not sure why but aside from the Origin-specific part I just really hated the whole thing.

Deep Roads. I liked Orzammar but the Deep Roads are dull. They're so...brown. And depressing. And the Deep Stalkers - argh!

It depresses me to think the Wardens end up dying down there. I would hope my own Wardens find death in battle before they get the Calling, just so that they can die under the sky of their homeland.

I used to think the fade then the deep roads but really i just figured out a ways to go to blow through both areas. I am usually a completionist, but in both of those places i just take the direct paths to get in get out and go away. For the fade you do the first 2 areas to the right and the first one to the left and now you have all the forms and it is simple. I find it is more of a bother to actually fight to the sloth demon than to blow through the fade once i get there, i have always considered the fade to be the easy part once i figured out how to get the forms.

The deep roads is annoying only because you can not travel out quick, you must exit the deep roads to Oz, then you must exit OZ completely before you can map travel. Other than that one poster awhile ago simplified the deep roads for me head south when ever you can and before you know it your at the deep trenches. I often found it weird that in the deep roads there are no random encounters like on the surface when you travel between locations but i guess that is a good thing.

Deep Roads. Sticking my head in the car door and slamming it a few times would be less painful. I wish there was a mod of "Deep Roads be gone" so you could kill the Broodmother and then Branka (or Caridin) without going through that agony.

I think my Warden will just commit suicide if she ever becomes too unkillable to darkspawn and ends up having to do her Calling.

The deep roads is one of my favorite places, quests to sustain you for a bit in each area, nice unique armor and weapons. Alas opinion's are just that.

But the part I hate about the Fade the most that makes me resent going to the Mage's tower, is that it is to dull. Only thing you get out of it are some +1's to your stats every now and then. Though I must say the Fade in Awakening was much more enjoyable.

It was.  I enjoyed the Blackmarsh the most in the expansion but then I really liked Justice too.

Fade, fade, fade, FAAAHHHDE! At the Blackmarsh, when I heard the disciple casting the spell followed by a "Shiummpff!" I was saying to myself "Not the fade, not the fade, not the FADE!... fade... marvelous...." Seems like Oghren had my same feelings...

Lol this.
Deep Roads is my absolute favourite part. Actually I like the Fade too, don't understand all this hate of it.
For me most annoying part in the Urn. This is one boring quest filled with dumb human religious bs. Andraste this, Andraste that... Pfft.

Fade was awesome when I first went through it, but it did get boring in later playthroughs. Good thing there is a mod to skip the boring parts and still see everything worth seeing, other than speaking to Nialas.

My vote would be the Deep Roads. First time it was fine, then I just didn't like to do it in later games. It wasn't that exciting and I don't really care for underground environments. The Deep Roads was only fun after you met Hespith, fought the Broodmother and eventually reached the Anvil. Everything before Hespith was making sure I got every codex and quest in the Deep Roads and trying to race through it, skipping loot that I know isn't important.

Edit: This is just for DA:O, in Awakening I enjoyed the Fade and Deep Roads.

Anvil of the void

Also, I will never understand all the fade hate. It was fun! Only thing annoying about it was trying to find all the fonts.

It's funny to see, that almost everyone thinks the same. But I wholeheartedly agree. Fade was nice, but only during first or second playthrough, after that, well.. ugh. Deep roads are.. too deep haha. However, it is usually my last stop before the Landsmeet, which means that not all of my characters reach that point, as I sometimes just get bored and don't lead them to the end of the game.

The Deep Roads are one of my favorite areas in the entire game. I actually love the fact that they are so long and windy. It really makes the place feel as grueling and gritty as the lore suggests. That and the sacred ashes are my two favorites actually.

The fade was amazing my first time through. Learning all the different forms and combining spells with my base abilities makes for some pretty awesome gameplay. And I still love boxing with the Ogre boss as a golem (HULK SMASH!).

But I do agree, once you've done it once or twice it can get a little tedious. And searching for all the 1 ups gets annoying since I absolutely have to find them all... and double check, then triple check to make sure.

TBH though I don't really "hate" any zones from Origins. Well except for Denerim, since it always makes me CTD.

The origins fade, and the deep roads.

The fuzzy screen in the fade is annoying.

The spiders and dark stalkers are annoying, in the deep.

On my first playthrough, I didn't like Orzammar and the Deep Roads.
Harrowmont and Bhelen give you the run-around when you do the quests for
A Paragon of Her Kind.So do the locals for their quests.
My first
impression of Orzammar was disdain because as a surface-dweller, I'm use
to being outside with fresh air. Being underground gives a sense of
being trapped and seperated from the rest of the world, IMO anyways. The
Deep Roads are what annoy me the most.Sure, it's fun to kill a ton of
darkspawn but the trek is tedious and at the end ( if you choose to help
Caridan), all that work was for a crown for a people who give the
impression that they can't settle politics in a civilized manner.I
understand that dwarves are different than the rest of the races,I'm not
saying I hate them at all, I'm just saying as a surface dweller this is
the impression I got.
After a couple playthroughs, Orzammar doesn't
bother me as much as it use to and I can appreciate it more, but I still
find the main quest for Orzammar and the Deep Roads to be monotonous. Same with the Fade (my fiance'
and I amuse ourselves by associating the name with the haircut [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie] lol),
at first I found it fun because of the puzzle-solving with shapeshifting
abilities, but after a couple playthroughs, that place gets tiresome
also.
I would have to say The Deep Roads and Orzammar are my least
favorite places in the game.

The depp roads were alright in my first play through but the fade overall is the worst I stopped playing the game for a week when I got up to that bit for a third time hoping it might complete itself sadly it didn't

I'm with this guy.

The Mage Tower and the Fade espcially, though are just ugh after about 3 or 4 times.  The person who made the Skip The Fade mod is a hero among men.  The Fade in Awakening was thankfully, much less painful than in Origins.
