Fade, fade, fade, FAAAHHHDE! At the Blackmarsh, when I heard the disciple casting the spell followed by a "Shiummpff!" I was saying to myself "Not the fade, not the fade, not the FADE!... fade... marvelous...." Seems like Oghren had my same feelings...

Ok, when I first met the Architect and he puts me to sleep, I was like 'You're gonna send me to the Fade, you SoB!'  And then he didn't and I was wicked happy.  And then I went to Black Marsh.  >.>

In Origins, the Deep Roads are the worst for me.  By now, the Fade I just cruise through.

Brecillian Forest is the worst one for me, mostly because I dislike Elves and Werewolves...

Mage tower. Heartily sick of the Dalish section too now. I like the deep roads!

But I'm a dorfie fangirl, so yeah.

Yeah, the Brecillian forest takes too long and I really don't care about the clan. I mean, it's not even the same one from the Dalish Origin, which might lead to some emotional attachment.

And Lothering. I HATE Lothering.

I must have been the only person in existence who enjoyed the Fade.

I'd have to say the Deep Roads - they were still pretty fun, but they just dragged on and on and on, to the point where the final excursion to the Anvil of the Void was something like a four hour dungeon crawl. At least half of it could have been comfortably cut out without harming the plot progression.

My only problem with the Deep Roads was those stupid spiders. I swear, all of the non-mages in the party spent half those battles completely immobile.

I think our preferred race impacts how we feel about areas. I love the Deep Roads on my dwarves. I spend a lot of time panning the camera around to look at the walls, to check out the lava below, to see how the roads caved in, I check out every road marker sign to see what it says every time, and I read the codexes while I'm at it.

Having said that, I don't enjoy Brecilian Forest and the Alienage. I'm a cave-dweller so it's unnatural to be out in all that greenery and the Alienage is just unpleasant.

I actually like the Fade. I don't like having to remember which rooms I need to go back to later, but I love the whole concept of the Fade. I thought they really improved on this in Awakening.

1. The Fade: First time I went through, it frustrated the hell out of me. The second time it was cool I knew what to do where to go, no problem. 3rd and 4th time, :pinched:I hate it. I don't even go after most of the fronts, I just want to get out. The Fade in the Blackmarsh was more pleasent (it looked to have more color to it) But, I was still kinda PO'ed that I was sent there<_<

2. Deep Roads: Just all the going back and forth; go get this, bring back proof of that, go find Branka. I do like the fact that I get a lot of experence form it, but it just drags on what seems like forever:(

I frickin hate the Fade with a burning passion. I always do the Broken Circle first after Lothering so I can get it done with, and to get Wynne. So utterly boring.

I love Orzammar though, and I love the deep roads. I like the Bracillian Forests, but I hate the story of the werewolves and stuff, kind of stupid to me.

Definately the fade. I liked all the bonus experience nodes you could collect, so it would usually be my first stop, but the repetitiveness of the tower setup and the fact that you're COMPLETELY isolated for half of the dungeon made it incredibly difficult for me to play through.

I actually loved the deep roads. Tons of conversation took place between the characters I bring along (zevran, wynne, oghren) and there were so many amazing areas where on the higher difficulties you had to play it in a much more complex tactical manner. Not to mention Brood Mother and the creepy rhyme... plus the fact that my all time favorite party member was the feature cutscene character (as in, he got most face time.)

EDIT: Oh, I liked the fade in awakening muuch better. You had all your buddies there with you. :D

I hate Orzamaar. It is dark and I hate dark quests it is so damn brown for such a long time the shadows give me a migraine I like all the other quests because they are bright and colorful. The brownness and the shadowyness of Orzamaar and the deep roads is a physical pain in the eyeballs. I turn up the gamma to make it brighter but it is still so very brown and shadowy and the eyestrain hurts. I can play the rest of the game nonstop but I have to break up Orzamaar over the course of several nights or endure a terrible migraine.

The Fade. I hate it.

As for the Deep Roads... the bridge battle in the Dead Trenches was epic, and seeing the archdemon up close for the first time was kinda cool.

But knowing that one day you'll end up dying in a place like that is enough to send chills down your spine. So, yeah the Deep Roads along with the fade are my 2 most "hated areas".

Thanks for f****** up the ultimate sacrifice Bioware. Now I hate the deep roads even more. :D

I'm not sure how I failed to notice that. You'd think something that huge would have been a bit more obvious.

its an actual cutscene right before you run into the Legion of the Dead guys fighting by the bridge. Maybe you were getting a soda from the fridge while it was loading?

That explains it, then. I have a deathly allergy to cutscenes and haven't seen one since my first playthrough way back in December.

I hate Caridin's cross! I have a bug there on this playthrough, and I've replayed it endless times now! Argh >:-(

And yes, Ostagar and Korcari wilds! I had so many characters, that I can probably do these areas with eyes closed...
