Best Archer Armor in DAO and the Rapid Aim Effect.

I tried on Wade's Superior Medium armor set, but though the stamina boost and protection was great, my archer's performance was nothing close to when I combined the following items:
Cadash Stompers: 2.66 +2 dex, +2 armor, +2% critical chance, +2% critical chance, Increases hostility (but I have disengage)
(On top of that: The Long Sight and Longbowman's belt: 5 and 2 % ranger critical chance)
And also, by combining Repeater Gloves and Falon'Din's Reach (each has a rapid aim effect), I could use Precise Striking and Aim at the same time, with the speed of Rapid Shot, rendering Rapid Shot useless.
Currently I'm using Ancient Elven Armor, but the protection is not enough: Is there any Light or Medium Armor higher than 6.80, that combines dexterity with any stamina boost, or at least low fatigue?

+6 Dexterity / +9 Defense / +4 Armor / +2 Combat Stamina Regeneration / +15 Physical Resistance
the funny thing is it's sold by Herren at Wade's shop, so since he's giving you the cold shoulder by now you can't buy it! the joke's on you!! haha. the next best armor is probably Shadow of the Empire sold in Orzammar
+2 Strength / +2 Dexterity / +1 Combat Stamina Regeneration
I got the list here

+2 damage / Rapid aim / +3% ranged critical chance / +10 attack / +10% critical/backstab damage
but it also comes with a catch. you can only buy it either killing Owen the blacksmith in Redcliffe or not finding her daughter in the castle. then he will be replaced by a new blacksmith who will sell you the bow.
the more you know

If you don't mind using mods, there's one available at Dragon Age Nexus that lets Owen sell you Far Song after rescuing his daughter.
The nice thing about the mod is that it doesn't just *give* you the bow - you still have to pay for it - so it's kind of an optional, additional bonus to what reward you get anyway.

For an archer, also consider using the Longbowman's Belt (Bodahn) or anything that raises your ranged crit chance (and damage). If you put Shale into Rock Mastery (fully maxed out) you'll gain ridiculously faster aiming with even further increased ranged crit chance. Archers crit like crazy.

Ive got a rogue bard/duelist (plus assassin in awakening but if we are just going on origins then just the first 2). Yeah felons coat is where the good stuff is. I also recommend Andruils Blessing as a belt (found in circle of magi merchant) pretty sure it boosts all your attributes and dexterity
Helm of Honnleath is I.M.O. the best helm as again it boosts all attributes and dexterity. Harvest Ring is good too.

Adds Far Song to Owen's shop inventory.

The upgrade to Wade's store will appear after completing any three main quests (like Circle Tower, Redcliffe, Urn).

The upgrade happens after you complete any two of the four (Magi, Dwarves, Humans, Dalish) main quests.
For the OP, Leliana is my primary archer and this is the gear I have on her:
Far Song
The Long Sight
Cadash Stompers
Longbowman's Belt
Red Jenny Seekers
The Wicked Oath
Felon's Coat
Necklace and the other ring slot are random bits of Cunning boosts or Attack boosts.

How can I get Red Jenny Seekers? I just handed the box through the door and got $. What should I have done?
Wrong quest. Check with Master Ignacio (Gnawed Noble Tavern). If he's not there, he's on the market and you have to wait until he sends you a messenger when you enter or leave the Market District.
