although there may be a few additional lines of dialog [1] if Jacob and Miranda are in your party when talking to Ish on Omega.

Trust me. There aren't. I've tried.... so, so many times.

Maybe they decided against it because they didn't want ot encourage people to play that godawful game?

BINGO.

This is EXACTLY what I'm thinking. I just want an admission from Bioware that it doesn't exist. Instead of them pretending they slid in some exclusive content that NOBODY can provide a transcript for or a youtube video of.

Doesn't that say it all?

If somebody can prove it - please resolve this and post a link to a transcript or a video of the exclusive dialogue that doesn't appear to regular Mass Effect 2 players.

The complete lack of word from them on this is very telling, methinks.

I salute you sir. And endorse your comment. In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

my thought is that the dialouge with Ish is(or was supposed to be) the bonus, and they just made it accessible to everyeone, rather then as a bonus to Galaxy players.

Wouldn't expect an answer from Bioware though.

See this is just slack. The game was literally promising a special bonus for completing the game waiting for us in ME2. It's not a bonus. It's a lie. People can be suckered into buying the game for the extra content when they don't need to.

How hard is it for Bioware to clear this up? Really?

This does make some sense when you consider the Ish quest is also buggy. Maybe they are related?

A bug? Hmm. That's quite a cop out for Bioware. If true though I would be content and stop complaining. I just want a developer to come out and clear this up.

Why doesn't Mass Effect Galaxy show up underneath the "Your registered game promotions" along with all the Cerberus Network content and such anyway?

There's no evidence it's even being recognised...

Usually... but sometimes it can be as little as $4.

I mean - they register all the Dr Pepper promotions and stuff. Why not Mass Effect Galaxy?

I'm glad I'm not missing out on content just because I don't own an iphone.

Well Maybe Bioware SHOULD be saying something on this issue. They brought out an iphone game, they advertised it as having a tie-in with the upcoming ME2.

I bought the game, I then bought Mass Effect 2, and I have no idea what my bonus content is.

These are still both Bioware products, and it's a legitimate question to ask them. They should be required to answer really, otherwise they mis-sold me the iphone game due to false advertising.

Its a customer support/service issue.

The search for truth implies a duty. One must not conceal any part of what one has recognized to be true.

The Miranda and Jacob convo IS NOT on the Citadel - its on Omega whilst talking to a salarian named Ish (recognize the name? Jacob does)

I won't spoil it but it isn't anything special.

I think you're wrong there.  I never got Galaxy and I got that dialogue.

If BioWare is wrong about something, they won't come out and admit it. Accept that and move on.

Yeah - i think this has gone a little bit too far. Why do all these kind of questions that people demand an "immediate answer" to always ask over the weekend or over public holidays. Over in Edmonton i believe it is night still and it is either Easter Sunday/Easter Monday. If you expect any kind of response before Wednesday (being Australian) then you are just foolish.

I also own Galaxy and yes it would be nice if the bonus is there somewhere that i haven't found yet but i really do not care if it isn't there. It's not like i bought the game just for the bonus (hell i bought it when it was .99 cents in the app store.

While i think an answer is needed to the Q. i think that "demanding" the answer with this tone on these forums is not the right way to go about it.

Every other civil attempt to elicit some sort of response from Bioware has failed miserably. Just do a forum search for 'mass effect galaxy' to see the numerous politely worded but completely ignored threads. The time for action is now. We want answers. We demand answers!

check the Mass Effect Galaxy page on the ME Wiki; it's explicitly stated that Jacob and Miranda will initiate dialog regardless of whether or not you've played Galaxy.

In other words, no exclusive reward was actually implemented in ME2.

...though I wager the Jacob/Miranda dialogue on Omega actually was *supposed* to be the Galaxy bonus. They just mucked it up, like they probably did with the Paragon/Renegade import concerning Conrad.

ME2 is a huge project. Small bugs like this are bound to creep in.

That's what I personally think it is as well. A programming bug that went unnoticed, just like the Conrad one, except it's a good bug for those who've never played Galaxy. lol

...To me knowledge, the only two locations that would be an indicator consist of talking to Ish on Omega, or aboard the Citadel. That said, the dialog is suppose to be minor regardless.

That said, did at least, I don't know, anyone LIKE the Mass Effect Galaxy game? I sort of did...
