At least we have some form of recognition though. I tip my hat to you Javier. I remember you back on the old Bioware boards. A voice of reason and calm among the rabble.

Is it really worth getting that upset over a couple lines of dialog? Personally, I'd be a lot more upset that the "reward" (if indeed there is one) is only dialog as opposed to something more significant.
Even if there isn't a bonus, presumably you bought ME Galaxy to play it, and not just for the bonus right? If so, then you still got to enjoy the product you bought; how is that a scam? If however you bought it purely for the bonus without knowing what the bonus was beforehand, I'd say that wasn't a prudent purchasing decision and you can't really blame others for your own choice. I'm not saying it's right of them to ditch on their promise, but I don't know that it's worth getting really upset over - and just take it a lesson to not buy games (or any product really) based on a promise that isn't nailed down.
For what it's worth, I figure that people that played ME Galaxy or even just iPhone owners, are a small enough percentage of ME2's potential playerbase that they would probably ****** off more people off by making the reward something really good (e.g. how people would whine that they don't want to buy and iPhone and a bad game just to get <whatever>). Or they just didn't want to spend time developing content that would only be seen by a small percentage of the playerbase in favor of spending that time making some aspect of the game that would be experienced by everyone better.

I agree. It isn't right for them to ditch on their promise. End of story. I just want answers. I want to know whether it was a bug, accidental oversight or a straight out case of deception.
What is wrong with that? I have a right to the truth. I'm not asking for compensation or a free handout. I just want to hear from an actual Bioware representative what the real situation was.
Even if Bioware come in and say they have no idea what happened, that would be sufficient and I can move on,

I can sympathize with your issue Elith, but surely you can also understand that more often than not, developers don't have time to handle the cry of a single complaint. Hardly personal, but it usually takes a significantly larger riot to bring someone down to put out the fires.
Even if you say you won't go out quietly...I can't condone this self-righteous fury that you feel important enough to be specifically addressed.

I don't think BioWare ditched on their promise. If they did, they would have notified us by this time. It's probably just a coding bug, really.

Why the months of silence Bioware? Can't you put this issue to rest once and for all? For a crazy fan like me?

I also would like an answer to this. It seems that in the new forums, we've lost a certain level of casual interaction with a lot of the devs, especially with people like Jarret Lee, Brenon Holmes, and Patrick Weekes.Elithranduil wrote...
I just want a definitive answer saying it's a bug. Then I'll be happy. I'm sure others out there are wondering the same thing but haven't gotten around to posting. I'm not interested in reparations.

Gladly, I didn't actually go out and buy an Iphone, but just used my friend's copy of the game to play it, and was a bit surprised to find out that there wasn't actually anything waiting for me in my copy of ME2.

I did a little searching and in fact Christina Norman responded to a couple of threads. But it's not what you think. It simply avoided addressing the question at all.

Also, just a point that...this isn't a very good scam if it's at 2 Dollars (USA). Unfortunately, I'm not well versed enough to know exchange rates.

I totally get where you are coming from. And you are right. But it's not a single complaint. This has been an on-going question for months. On the official mass effect wikia it still mentions this whole issue is up in the air. Nobody has any idea what exactly the exlcusive content entailed. There is nothing that appears for iphone registered EA accounts that doesn't already appear for regular players. That's why I'm curious as to whether there is some sort of bug or not. Because the message I got on the iphone was:
"Your reward for completing the game is waiting for you in Mass Effect 2."
Take a look at these threads that were never resolved.
