So far I have had numerous crashes.  First the problems with the light renderer, then the pathfinder, then the exporter.   Now I'm locking up when I try to check out the demo area.  I'm also getting an out of memory error when I try to load the ost101d.arl file which is only 3.47MB.  My system has 6GB of RAM!  I sincerely hope the devs are monitoring this forum so they can start the patching process as in my opinion, there are numerous bugs and too few documentations.  For example, it would have been nice if they mentioned in a readme file or something that you MUST have Python 2.5 and WIN32DLL addins for the light rendering to work.

yeah it should really install python like it does with MSSQL if it's not available. but trust me the installation problem has been a hazzle for us beta testers for each edition. it runs alot smoother now then the first edition we got. the lightmapper is brand new we got it like a week before you guys so it hasn't gone through enough beta testing.

Well that all comes down to the license and if the companies allow their software to be redistributed. Microsoft probably allowed them to redistribute sql 2005 but python may not allow redistributing. Even though its free.

Actually the Eclipse readme file says to install the ActivePython version, which was what started all of my problems.  I had to uninstall that and install the Python 2.5.4 version and manually download the WIN32DLL addins.
